This episode May was really cute. Also I have some surprises for you /mg/

Very dense episode. Introduces secret bases. Continues the Magma/Aqua plot a bit, and most importantly May has some interesting moments...

The gang, who's still training so Ash prepares for his Gym battle (and May for her future contests) finds Birch and they decide to join him for some exploring. They enter a cave thinking they'll find some wild Pokemon but instead find a door (an entrance to a secret base).

The secret base owner, a meek kid, finds the gang inside his base and screams at them to go away. The gang wants to clear the misunderstanding (as the kid thinks they're intruders) but the kid keeps screaming at them so they go away. TR, who was trailing the gang, eventually assaults the secret base and captures the kid Nincada (but the kid escapes).

The gang eventually meets with the kid again wondering what happened. The kid explains but doesn't give enough clues for the gang to realize it was TR who took his base. There's a cute moment where the kid is being all gloomy and meek about what happened and May gets mad at him for not standing up for himself and Pokemon battling the people who took his base, only for Max to say that he doesn't find her lecture very convincing (coming from her). Hence the gag where she goes doggy style position. The gang decide to help the kid.

Nice pic (though it'd make more sense with OS or AG Ash), but for future reference, ships (even objectively canon ones like RuSa) are avoided in OPs, not only here but in other girl generals' OPs too, to avoid bickering. It's a mostly unspoken rule, but everyone follows it.

Team magma invades the base and overtakes it from TR. They drill a hole through the base because it leads to a hidden infrastructure related to Groudon/Kyogre. When the gang arrives at the base they find it destroyed and they decide to go through the drilled passage. Team aqua eventually intercepts Team magma but things don't really escalate. The gang observes from afar and after both teams leave the gang confronts TR (who where also observing from afar) to save the kid's Nincada. The kid mans up and rescues his Pokemon and everyone is happy but wonders what's up with TA and TM plans.

When I uploaded the screencaps for this episode last time (a few months ago if not a year or so ago) we noticed May doing a doggystyle pose which led to some funposting and teasing about it. But now that I'm taking more screencaps and even going frame by frame I'm realizing how erotic her movement was through the entire animation (she was doing a 'fall to the ground after something anti-climatic gag' in response to Max saying her lecture wasn't convincing after she got mad at the kid). So I made some gifs about it for you Maybros to enjoy and realize how the animators (at least the leading animator for this episode, who is Yumenosuke Takuda, last animated episode of his was AG023 >>59157390) were so thirsty for May that they sneaked some erotic content disguised as 'haha funny'.
