>wahhh my console isn't a market leader I need to chuck it
Fag had Panzer Dragoon Saga, Burning Rangers and Shining Force 3 right around the corner. Not only that but those games would've dwarfed the price of a Saturn itself in a just a few years if he held onto them.

I miss Bernie posting. I actually like the Saturn but it would always give me a giggle

This is AU currency so 0.7 of US $.
They had a big clear out of new Saturns for about $150 in late 1997 or so, before the DC announcement. Someone traded about 30 Saturn games at the local pawnshop and they sold them for $10 each, I got there about 2 weeks later and the majority were sold.
I remember right at the end that my Kmart had a big stack of those coloured N64's for about $60. I remember thinking thats so cheap but why would I want this, it won't become classic like NES.

there was a time when new games were usually better than old games, so there was no reason to go back and play old games. an alien concept for zoomers to understand, I suppose. "retro gaming" didn't exist until the 2000s.
