I have played many actually,easily more than 50

It's neat in some ways. It has some nice music and visuals. It has booty swishing around.
But it becomes such a slog after not very long at all. I beat it in uni in the '00s, in short bursts. When Zodiac Age came out I tried playing it in long like I normally play FFs and I couldn't take it anymore after Raithwall's.

Asshe is my favourite FF protagonist.

I'm replaying right now, it's been 20 years since I played it. Still love it to death, there are some good mods you can get for the Zodiac Age, mainly the rescaled PS2 textures that actually look good instead of the trash Square put out (which are basically the same overshapen garbage that Capcom did with RE Remake).

It's not a bad game, it's just really mediocre. It doesn't scale well and is fairly flat. They were smart to not have it drag on, the game ends just as it's starting to wear out it's welcome.

It's OK for a 3D game, but the gameplay doesn't feel much like Final Fantasy, it definitely feels more like a single-player MMO with a story. Setting is good, story is OK.

I could not have hated it more when it came out because it was aping the fortnite-tier GAAS of the time, WoW and the generic MMORPG in general. If I replay it now it's just obviously undercooked because of whatever happened with the FFT guy falling apart.
