Even the director for God of War admits the harder modes weren't playtested at all. The game is shallow enough, increasing enemy HP and decreasing player HP is all it does, which naturally makes the game a tremendous slog.

I don't understand why DK Land is even on here. The only tricky part is the cloud level with moving platformers you have to jump on to change direction. Gunstar Heroes, the Ghouls n Ghosts duology, and Silver Surfer are also extremely easy
