N64 actually had very few kids games.
Pokemon snap, yoshis story, arguably mario party. There was a mickey mouse game on it of some kind. The N64 was still at the tail end of the "play it loud" era and wanted to distance themselves from kids games.
It wasnt until gamecube that nintendo returned to being the go-to kids console.

Mascot platformers are not kids games, banjo and mario flagship games are accessible to kids but not made for kids.
Most of the actual kid titles remained on gameboy in the 1990s, like pokemon and the barbie games. When pokemon got big enough,snap and stadium were added to N64 as simple cash grabs.
