You're focusing too much on the vertical resolution. The much higher horizontal res makes a considerable difference

I had the worm light and a rechargeable battery pack that could charge while playing. I think it was branded Piranha.
It was pretty good. Was some accessory pack that came with a with a little FM radio that plugs into the top of the GBA, no idea why you would use that but I though it was cool.

Lynx and Game Gear were designed to be played indoors next to a power plug, but parents didn't buy consoles to make their kids happy. i don't disagree, the ngage is no more modern than the gba considering both the mobile nature naturally having less performance for its' age and the fact it didn't last long (discontinued 2006).
