TELL ME WHICH RPG TO PLAY
I've always been pretty interested in RPG's as a genre but I often bounce off them. But now, I am in the mood, I want to commit and play a really good RPG
I don't care if its old, I don't care if its challenging, I don't care if its mechanically complex, all I want to do is play the best RPG, I want to get immersed in a fantasy world, I want to meet cool characters and experience a great story, I want to level up a character and get good abilities, I want to defeat the enemies.
I'm not going to minmax I'm not going to abuse guides I want to give a great RPG the ol college try in an honest and earnest way
Please tell me which RPG is the best. Is it fuckin baldurs gate 2? divinity? fallout? vampire the masquerades? IDK if deus ex counts, I dont fucking know, but I will do whatever you tell me

Wrath Of The Righteous, Deadfire or Underrail are probably the top three of all time. But this comes with caveats.
If you're not used to the RPG genre or if you're the type who gets frustrated or impatient easily, each of these three do have moments that might be off-putting to you. It's not because they're bad, it's because your personal training and taste might not be compatible.
It's like putting a hyperactive thirteen year old in an opera audience. They might not be a good fit for the artform. Lots of thirteen year olds discover opera and become fascinated. Opera is an ancient and thoroughly proven artform. When a hyperactive thirteen year old gets bored or annoyed while sitting in the audience, it isn't somehow a mark against opera.
So. What your post is missing is information about YOU. Tell us what kinds of games you like and why you haven't been into RPGs before. Tell us what your weaknesses are as an audience / player. Tell us about your media literacy levels. Tell us what you believe you actually want, what are you looking for from RPGs?
It's like you want to go out to eat but you aren't telling us if you have a shellfish allergy. You want us to pick the restaurant for you but you aren't telling us you fucking hate mexican food. You're so autistic you can't eat anything but your familiar bland chicken nuggets, but you claim you want to start trying something new to you?

Do you want 2D, isometric or 3D graphics?
Do you want a plot-driven experience, or an open world?
Do you want action elements, or dice-based event resolution?
Do you want real-time combat or turn-based?
Do you want a fantasy, sci-fi, contemporary or historical setting?
Do you want to see great tits, or no nudity at all?
