anyone else only enjoy jrpgs when youre sick and stuck in bed?

like when i cant handle anything mechanical that takes thinking and focus i just default to chill genres like jrpgs

for me its things like chrono trigger, pokemon, older final fantasy games just slow comfy grinding and mindless story stuff--pic relate

what are your go to sick day rpgs??

I didn't get sick for like 2 or 3 years, then I mentioned that to a co-worker, a few weeks later I got sick!

rpgs are my only go-to genre. every other genre can go f themselves.

and yeah they also help me sleep. Thank you octopath for your dialogues

I'm worried that if I play a game while sick I'll associate the sick feeling with that game and ruin it for me in the future. Anyone else like this?

some of my most fond jrpg memories was being sick as a kid, mom calls school, I get 2 or 3 days off and just playing Lunar or Suikoden in my room (rented from Blockbuster)
