Austria-Hungary is my go to for WW1 and naval games though, since it lets you turtle in the Mediterranean

Austria is the least fun nation to play. Brandenburg-Prussia is good, as long as it's still sm0l like in EUV. But never play as a big nation, which already achieved Great Power status, unless you are playing the weakest of them (like Prussia).
