I've suspected that many suits see gen1 as a largely old shame that persists more than it should. I also kinda feel GAMERS was meant as a replacement gen for Fubuki (don't think any girl is aware of this). As for the snub matter, it's felt enough considering how Aki's biggest growth bursts are from outsiders

Yeah pet status basically though Matsuri may be benefitting from that (the suits seem to allow the friendship due to how Matsuri is a pillar to her; no idea If Matsuri had such an angle in mind or not)

Cover is profit-minded but that's exactly why they're careful about how they manage the less-popular talents. For every tan-oshi Hoshiyomi, Ichimi, and Nousagi, you have hako-oshis who value the overall dynamic of the company. They're the ones who buy tickets to Expo and Fes and collect merch of all of their favorites. And that's why every graduation is a big deal, even if they're mid-tier talents like Shion or Kanata, because they shake the fantasy that Hololive can't make everyone's dreams come true.

As for Stars, Cover really miss handled that entire branch. They had chances to fix it they were too stubborn on going all in on male idols. They got spotlight on them after the announcement, but it put Cover in a bad light with a lot of people.

I seen a few indies state their fondness of Aki, though I feel that's in part of seeing her endure things that drive (tempted to say more reasonable) others to quit far sooner and find strength in that. I once saw a clip, perhaps ironically it was Holostars, that I think explained this problem pretty well. Doing collabs sounds like a win-win for growth since two streamers are getting the opportunity to expose themselves to the other's fanbase. The reality though is once the stream is over each person's fans are just going to return to their respective corners. Not to say giving someone the spotlight is useless but it's not necessarily a shot in the arm.

I also see them as the low end troi. All three are overshadowed by their genmates. Choco also was told by her doctor back in 2021 to cut back a lot on streaming, since her daily schedule she did in 2019 and 2020 where she did multiple streams a day are what were giving her stress and depression, which would lead her to completely burnout. Like it was mentioned before for Riona, it's mainly her RM and also the fact DEV_IS can't be seen as a failure.

AZKi is weird since Hololive fans didn't care about her until she joined officially. Even then it wasn't until she allegedly was on the RUST server that she blew up. There was also the fact she went in hard on unicorns and completely dropped her singing streams with musicians.

Literally hosting event servers. She tried doing a PvP ARK server after she came back from her vocal chord surgery, but management said no. She mentioned that Pekora, Suisei and Miko asked her to organize and help run their servers.

It's hard for Roboco to do things with them when people think that Miko, Susie and AZKi have seniority over her. Choco always seemed like she was picked because they needed an "grown up" member. Both Roboco and Choco are doing more to get out there now compared to previous years.

She never said this. Many many times she emphasized the whole thing is just something she wanted to try and do (and has been going in that direction for years anyways) and also that the decision should be taken lightly, as in she might at any time do male collabs again if she feels it would make for really good content.
The only comment she has recently made directly about numbers is that Resident Evil 9 has been performing well and it motivates her to continue even though she's bad with horror games.
