surprised you're running i3 on a hybrid laptop. how's gaming working out for you? could never get my strix to work well on any xorg stuff.

I've had mostly minor issues with it, and none I'd attribute to X11. Gaming with Wine has been fine, but I haven't gamed in at least a year.

>couldn't get audio recording with MIDI to work. I'm definitely not very knowledgeable in that area, but I was able to do so with my Windows boot no problem
>Wayland has given me issues in the past which is what pushed me to switch to this current setup since all the normal desktop environments have integrated it

All that said...I will never buy an Asus or Nvidia product ever again and when I eventually get a new laptop I'll probably try out Sway.
