Most of this music was composed by talented Jews.

You're welcome!

What have you composed?

Posting the actual album version because despite the production on Brotherhood being frankly bad I still prefer this one track off of it vs the single remix
both are great though

the chorus on the original is explosive and washes over you but definitely muddier
there's just a lot more energy but it technically probably does sound worse
neat differences i wonder how many people only know the single/music video one

there are 2 other versions with some differences too, the 94 version from the the best of album have backing vocals, a shorter instrumental section, and the vocals starts a little later
my favorite version is the extended mix, which is sort of a fusion of all of them, it has the foundation of the single remix, with a extended instrumental between the choruses that i think transitions better, and the original brotherhood ending with the backing vocals from the 94 best of album

Have some Time

I love this song, but it is completely unlike anything else they ever did.
>>

To me there is just something really lacking with the single/extended dance mix.
I feel like I'm surrounded by sound when i listen to the original or even the '94 version. it's legitimately thrilling to hear. With those remixes there's just so much space between everything it feels so lifeless and almost frustrating to listen to
but I have to admit it sounds good, just not the song I enjoy and I seem to be an exception because most people love that extended dance mix version and it kinda seems like the official one at this point. I love how many different versions there are of new order songs though it keeps things interesting.

love buzz is extremely underrated

if you heard the original version first, the extended might sound weird because of the pauses between the vocals, i dislike extended versions too, they repeat too often and its annoying to take so long to get to the good part
but i prefer the build up and the sound of the extended, the tin can and coconut beats mixed with all that sweet electronic synth over the original instruments sound like angelic screeches to my ears

yes thats my fave version of the song too, the vocoder angels are an awesome effect in this version.
p.s. what about 80s synth bands shortly after that decade?
this is Human League in the early 90s still their very 80s synth self:
