Recommend some relaxing video game music playlists/singles please. Also, how would I download it and play it on my phone without using the internet?
Any recommendations welcome.

>Relaxing Video Game Music
That's a bit of a wide category. Do you mean bleep bloops, sample-based music from the 16-bit-era or just anything from a video game?

This you can download with yt-dlp

Especially aquatic ambience is relaxing.

What the other anon said, I'm mostly looking for ambience/background music since I read a lot. Heck, it doesn't really need to be videogames. Nothing too distracting as long as it's relaxing, I'm fine with anything.

Here's the soundtrack music for a short game called "Tower of Heaven":

The music is chiptune style. it's a very short game but it was a nice experience. The game is free btw.

Were the standard results available on YouTube displeasing to you? I remember finding relaxing videogame music compilations from Nintendo games and Nier Automata on YouTube, and those were quite satisfactory.

I discovered an artist called Dusqk some time ago. He makes music of the late 90s/early 2000s era, so while his music is not videogame music, it is reminiscent of videogame music from that time.

For real, I really like many of Earthbound and Mother 3's songs for the chiller parts of the games.
Here's some nice chill songs I like that are from vidya. Keep in mind there might be spoilers.

Also if you don't have photosensitive epilepsy I 100% recommend playing Yume Nikki and 2kki, there's a LOT and I mean a LOT of areas and subareas that have chill, relaxing, and even sweet music.

Final Fantasy 11 has a lot of such songs, and plenty of videos that compile a bunch of them into one video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKyoXtKTxbg

This used to play in my head every time something good would happen when I was about 15 (you can tell how dorky I was). Just relistening to it I can hear the telegraph sound effect that would tell you that you had to make a decision for your nation

Maplestory has some relaxing overworld music.

Early Lineage 2. Dunno about the rest. Mostly chill/epic but there are some battle/spooky songs.

And a custom playlist that was hand picked to resemble the early L2 music/vibe. A lot if not most of the tracks are from L2 but there's also plenty of tracks from other games/media. The songs are grouped by feeling/vibe in the playlist's descriptions and there are some sad/battle/dark groups (especially at the end) but you can translate and delete them from the playlist. And make sure that your player supports the .cue playlist format as without it you're just gonna have a single 9.5h "song".

HOMM series - I dunno if anything after 5 was good in terms of OST (the games weren't that good after that point). Also you gotta sort through them to pick the ones that you want as they have agressive/battle/dark/short songs.
https://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6633000
The Witcher series. Similar to HOMM in terms of sorting. Has some bangers.
https://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5470640
The Sea Will Claim Everything - made by same artist that did RoR 1 and 2 OST except the latest RoR 2 DLC which was meh. Also fuck Gearbox for ruining the RoR series.
https://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6117798
King's Bounty The Legend and Crossworlds (includes Armored Princess). Dunno about the rest as the quality went down with each game after the Crossworlds and KB 2 from a different studio was even worse. Similar to L2 in terms of sorting.
https://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6795985
You can download the Crossworlds OST from here because there's no separate OST download on rutracker. Crossworlds shares some tracks with The Legend.

Might be a basic bitch choice but early WoW has a good OST with plenty of chill songs. Some sorting is needed.
