Yea I remember the series. It never showed his face however the opening shot is of a empty white room with 1 laptop on a chair while he runs behind it and vomits into presumably a trash can. The guy is out of focus while the laptop plays these calm videos about ice cream and waves of the ocean and ocean sand. It is this calm corporate HR talk or something really nothing spooky or analog twist horror.

The rest of the series is him walking in his home with a camcorder and talking and pointing at things with his finger.

He basically calmly says there are these dark people or shadow people or he also called them "THEY", the interesting part is that he basically thinks the existence of these darkness people is common knowledge or everyone has them in their homes or something.

He basically points to one room in his house where THEY are or manifest or says something like
>We do not go there for THEY are in this room.


After he watches a movie or DVD about assertiveness that goes something like
>Remember you are your own person
>Others do not have the right to dominate you
>Remember to assertive say "I am my own person go away"
Or was it
>"I am my own person I do not consent!"
Or was it
>"I am my own person I do not consent to be treated like this!"

He basically decides to tell the shadow people to go away or be assertive and it goes horribly wrong with doors going crazy and him running out of the house while filming his ramblings.

I do not remember us ever seeing the shadow people it is mostly door handles moving from the other side or something dark (hand in black glove) in the darkness of the crack of the door or it (hand in black glove) creeping into the room when the door is not closed 100%

I remember one of the theories being that he is a serial killer and the shadow people are the ghosts of the ones he killed.

What got me is how nice the guy is and how he is not traumatized by being invaded by these shadow people every night. That combined with the assertiveness HR videos totally look like the simply say NO meme.

What got me interested is how calm/chill (no screamers or jump scares) the series is and the guy sounds like the most nice and submissive guy ever. Also the lore of these shadow people existing and him literally deciding to do the
>Just say NO
meme to them.

My personal theory is that the guy lives in an alternative universe where these shadow people are common(like a crocodile getting into your home IRL) or that they are rare and he only thinks this is normal because he is some bottom loner who never did get a hand of the real world.

PS: Maybe I should look under ARG since we did call these things ARGs back in the day not analog horror.
