people come here because they want to hear from what is, hopefully, a real person, without filter.
in the past you guys used to say

no, if everyone did that 4chan would just die, why not just google anything you want rather than make a thread for it?
because we can find things here that no google search can give us, especially since search engines started being "tailored" for individuals, which is a disgusting infringement of freedom and truth afaic.

I've never read it but from what I heard the point is that capital interests control the media and so they can cajole you into adopting whatever positions they want you to by controlling the news you're exposed to.
like how they lied about WMDs to get americans on board with the iraq war for example
