Are there any nu-shounen manga as good as Fullmetal Alchemist, Rurouni Kenshin or Shaman King Kanzenbang if I care more about character writing and storytelling rather than fights and power systems?

Uh buddy the genre isn’t for you, maybe watch regular TV shows like game of thrones or even read books, if you want a shonen like book then read mushoku tensei or cradle

Then what about just a damn regular adventure manga with actual depth to it regardless of the target audience?

You could try the whole gekiga genre, like lone wolf and cub, but again, if the entire thing you want is actual “depth” and think it’s the only thing that makes a story good, then you are looking at the wrong genre bro. Not only you will be missing the point of manga as a whole, but the entire adventure and battle shonen genre too. So i would advice you instead to read books like count of montecristo, moby dick, lord of the rings

Great! That leaves you many easy recommendation options, which is the purpose of this thread. So? What do you got?
