I guess I should say that I specifically is looking for other subtitle sites that have the series listed.
It's hard to find alternatives for me since there's also an unrelated movie called "How the west was won" from 1962, and I suspect many subtitle sites just copy them from opensubtitles.com (which I could not get to sync correctly).
Also, English subs is what I'm looking for.

I'm also accepting torrent downloads of the whole series with built-in English subtitles.

Tried using https://turboscribe.ai for the first episode, it actually worked pretty good and didn't need to log in.
However could only do three episodes per day, manually, and I need to extract the audio from each episode. Plus wait for it to finish.
Pain in the butt so I'd rather just have a torrent or new site to download from. The AI generated subs looks like it's only 95% accurate as well so better to have something human made.

Actually that AI capped the output to 30 min of subtitles so never mind. It bragged about allowing 10 hrs of upload, should have checked if that applied to free accounts as well (nope).

Finally found SRT files that sync fine by searching for "The Macahans" on https://www.subtitlecat.com/
