I guarantee anyone doing substantial work for these programs is completely unknown. They're not listed on government websites, I mean honestly. How stupid do you think our government would be to release their identities and make them vulnerable? You can't even find out who the CIA's station chief is in a foreign country.

I agree, I think this is just their way of making the UAP phenomenon more mysterious. Murder some scientists, make it seem like there's some kind of cover up about an explosive new truth, and then investigate it.
