Why are all the pagan religions derived from Hinduism, other than Buddhism, obsessed with blood, lineage, soil and have territorial deities despite these deities being the incarnation of natural concepts? I would make more sense if all of these religions were universalist.

>Why are all the pagan religions derived from Hinduism, other than Buddhism, obsessed with blood, lineage, soil and have territorial deities despite these deities being the incarnation of natural concepts?
Because "hinduism" isn't real, OP, it's just term the British invented to encompass any Indian belief they didn't understand. Blood, lineage, soil, and territorial deities are pretty universal to all religions, which is why they're all bullshit.
>I would make more sense if all of these religions were universalist.
Why the fuck would a local cult of a specific god in a specific place be universalist? Your idea of what religion is and how it typically works has been fried by Western ideas.

Sure it does, I just omitted the full argument for brevity's sake:
>the whole justification for religion, as opposed to just 'fuck you got mine,' is that some transcendent reality exists that makes material sacrifice here and now worthwhile.
>Most religions are, despite this, excessively concerned with the physical wellbeing of their in-group, especially its leaders.
>It's hard to imagine why a transcendent reality would necessitate child brides for Joseph Smith or care a huge amount about the local shitheap.
>Thus, it's not unreasonable to approach religion as a means of extracting wealth for their respective in-groups. The existence of such a mechanism is near-universal in all religions.
In other words, the idea that an all-powerful transcendent God cares about which people are doing what with their genitals is already pretty sus. Equally so the idea that transcendent spiritual realms would care deeply about ethnicity or culture, which are human things by definition.
It's not a proof, per se, but the economic realities of religion and the clearly in-group serving nature of almost all religions serve as reason enough to be skeptical, and from there all the usual questions about evidence can be applied.

india was a trade center, and the god-drugs were probably widely available as well as varied.

Already you are generalising religion as a whole and I think you are more or less just referring to more sacrificial religions, but let me not dwell on this.
>Most religions are, despite this, excessively concerned with the physical wellbeing of their in-group, especially its leaders.
? Most religions recommending the assistance and help for the wellbeing of each other and educated worshipers, wouldn't really affect any of the truth claims within it, matter of fact it would be expected within most religions dogmas. As community allows growth/preservation of the religion and the protection of religious leaders would allow the masses to be well educated without each one of them being bookworms and spending a lot of time learning its theology/mythology. Additionally if it advocated for MASS asceticism and individual isolation it would result in a decrees in the religion and less people practicing it and being enlightened this would also put in to question why the this active agent created their physical bodies in the first place.
>It's hard to imagine why a transcendent reality would necessitate child brides for Joseph Smith
Come on JW is obviously a fake and gay overt of christianity.
>care a huge amount about the local shitheap.
If the gods created the people it would make sense for them to care about their creations?
>Equally so the idea that transcendent spiritual realms would care deeply about ethnicity or culture, which are human things by definition.
Your race is direct reflections of your spiritualty? how don't you know this, you have been namefaging on here for a long time now i thought you would of known by now.

Okay. We won't dwell on it.
>As community allows growth/preservation of the religion and the protection of religious leaders would allow the masses to be well educated without each one of them being bookworms and spending a lot of time learning its theology/mythology.
See, if your religion is genuinely transcendent you wouldn't need logistics to support it. The idea that certain things transcend reality but we have to take the word of other humans to understand them is, well, it's vulnerable to a lot of abuse.
>Come on JW is obviously a fake and gay overt of christianity.
So substitute the Pope needing mistresses or Jesus himself needing constant validation from his own disciples.
>If the gods created the people it would make sense for them to care about their creations?
They manifestly do not care enough to contradict materialism in overt ways. The idea that a transcendent being cares just enough about your shitheap to tell you to kill the ousider but not enough to just have enough for everyone is pretty weird.
>Your race is direct reflections of your spiritualty? how don't you know this, you have been namefaging on here for a long time now i thought you would of known by now.
Is it, really? Race itself is a pretty tenuous concept and the idea that it somehow lines up with your spiritual ideas and practices is demonstrably untrue.

Well the presence of logistics doesn't really conflict with the religion itself. Think about it like this, not everyone is "built" for a really ascetic life within his current incantation, and it would be a bit counter productive to send of people which practically have no hope of achieving their spiritual goal, so in the mean time they should help build their community and expand the religion. image kinda
>They manifestly do not care enough to contradict materialism in overt ways.
Well its not up to them to open a blind mans eyes, just astral project, do energy works, learn about parapsychology, logical objections against physicalism like mind and cosmos by TN etc. if you want validation that materialism is false

Again this is a generation, not every pagan religion are full blown jhadies,

Are you Jewish?

Take a walk though any city, see if you notice patterns
Take a read through any world history, see if you notice patterns
Take a look at people biological constructs, see if you notice patterns

See, now you need to put more and more limits on the transcendent to make it consistent with material reality which is one of the key arguments against religion in my opinion.
>Well its not up to them to open a blind mans eyes, just astral project, do energy works, learn about parapsychology, logical objections against physicalism like mind and cosmos by TN etc. if you want validation that materialism is false
Uh, okay, I assure you this is a debate you will lose, so for the sake of being cordial let's just drop it.
>Again this is a generation, not every pagan religion are full blown jhadies,
What? Okay, then the central price of Indo-European paganism is cattle sacrifice. Why the gods care about who butchers cattle is itself kind of hard to explain.
>Are you Jewish?
No. I am an atheist. Before you ask, I am not ethnically Jewish either.
>Take a walk though any city, see if you notice patterns.
I live in Philly and the main pattern I see is the ability of people to get alone across arbitrary racial lines.
>Take a read through any world history, see if you notice patterns
I'm pretty well educated on history and there are a lot of patterns there. Care to be more specific?
>Take a look at people biological constructs, see if you notice patterns
I have a BS in evolutionary biology and I can safely say that the evidence for a genetic basis for "race" is pretty thin.

I'm not pagan I'm just trying to justify their position

Wow you disingenuity really shows lol, if you are coming into this to "Win" then this just proves that you are not willing to hear the other person out and just go full sophist mode, so yea i think it would be best if we just stop this discussion

Sacrifice for le gods ig, i too hold this position desu
