So who do you people pray to for happiness? What helps? Real answers only. I could use some help.

I meditate by focusing on the gaps between my breaths and I let my thoughts do whatever they want and just ignore them until the pain goes away and I feel a brief moment of relief.

I wouldn't say I pray to a particular God, but as I am doing this, I imagine "the divine" filling me up when I exhale, and leaving me when I inhale. I know, that sounds opposite, but it's because tantric meditation teaches that the nature of the divine is joy and nothingness, so if you are thinking about anything at all, you are focusing on a dream thing, an illusion that only exists in the mind. That includes your physical body and memories and everything going on in your life.

This is a very "zen" thing. Like, the finger pointing at the moon is not the moon.
