Actually FUCK kodansha quality control. I just went to check the scans of the last omni to confirm if the numbering stays off but it's more wrong than I thought. Traced it back to vols 6 and 7 of omnis 2 & 3 and they make the same mistake repeating chapter 40, so while the table of contents in the last volume counts up to a "chapter 109", the double counting of chapters 21 and 40 means there are actually 111 distinct chapters in this release.
I don't know if the bonus one-shot chapter is included but even if it is, that contradicts the information on anilist and removes any potential 108 magic number symbolism.
