I tried to scan the genga book myself, as I got it from the first time the book was sold, but scanning proved to be difficult because of the gutter shadows, like pic related on the right side. It was going to get worse the more I scanned the book and I didn't want to fuck up my book, and editing it would be too time-consuming, so I decided to wait and see if I can get a second copy of the book to cut up and scan better without detracting from the quality.

Yeah, the Comiket/GEEKBOAT book is the design concept book. From what I was told, the artbooks are following the format of Promare, so those three will probably the only ones for NPSG for a long time.

The genga (white book with everyone on it) and the staff illustration book (yellow book) were originally sold back in November on Trigger for Japan only. GEEKBOAT (white with only Panty) was sold at Comiket last December. Originally, it was only sold at the event but an anon here was lucky enough to obtain the book from a seller online and scan it for us

Anyways, as long this thread survives until tomorrow morning, I am hoping a lot of people here will be able to get a chance to pick up the genga book before it's sold out. Last week, the staff illustration book sold out and it made the website lag, that TRIGGER is doing a reprint, so there's a probability the same thing will happen again tomorrow too. If I remember correctly, orders stopped completely after about 3 hours the orders went live.

Also, if something were to happen me, I am hoping someone else here could also pick up the scanning duties too, especially if I'm not able to get the order this time around.

When I do get the book, expect the book to be uploaded on the same sites as the others were uploaded. Pic related is hopefully decent enough quality, but it will be scanned in 300 dpi instead of 600, in comparison to the staff art book.

I didn’t pay any more fees after confirming the order, so if the genga book is the same price as last time (3850 yen) plus the shipping fee (3000 yen), it will be about $45 for it total.

I liked Season 2 a lot personally, but I can also agree it was a bit tamer compared to Season 1. I also understand that it would be impossible to keep it exactly the same as it was 5 minutes ago, so I’m more than willing to give it some slack and hope that Trigger takes the criticism to account for next season when the get to it.

I don’t care much for the plot, just as long as it makes me laugh and has some banger music, which it did.

I know Reckless may be seen as weaker compared to Fallen Angel, but I do genuinely love both ending themes. The S2 OP is definitely better than S1 though.

I hope the season two animation art book will be much more interesting then the first season animation art book.

It's funny, I never cared about PSG being "edgy". Probably because it was incredibly tame compared to every adult cartoon at the time, obviously Drawn Together but also South Park, Family Guy, Happy Tree Friends, etc. All where much more graphic, offensive and controversial. Literally the only thing in the show that could come close to those was Stocking eating babies' foreskin, but that was just a tiny DVD extra. The rest was mostly toilet humor. For me PSG is all about the style and letting each episode staff do whatever they want.

Alright, I’m gonna say one negative thing I did actually dislike regarding Season 2: I think Kneesocks’ character has changed a bit for the worse, thanks to Six Hundred Sixty Six Candles.

You know how people say that they didn’t like how Stocking this season was more dependent on Panty? Kneesocks has it worse than her, and I don’t usually like the younger siblings (barring Polyurethane). I like the episode a lot, but I hate that it made everyone think that Kneesocks can’t function without her sister around. I like that Kneesocks has more control over herself compared to Scanty, to the point that she’s her minder, but that episode did irreparable damage to that dynamic, because now you see subby/crybaby Kneesocks more often than not in fanart than how it used to be.

I was a latefag that watched S1 in 2012 then S2 a month ago, happy to say it was a good time and apart from a few skits I didn't understand the reference to, the episodes are authentic and haven't lost any of the charm. Stocking's noticeably different, in both presence and vices, in S2 though.

I just hate that is what Kneesocks is know for now. Hell, even that one guy who draws and post Daemoncest religiously always has their Kneesocks look like she’s on the verge of a mental breakdown when being romantic with Scanty. Kneesocks isn’t my favorite but she is cool enough to be able to function on her own, like in The Stripping.

That’s what a lot of people complain about for Stocking this season, that she’s more frail comparatively. I don’t really see it much myself, but it’s why noticeable with Kneesocks.

To be fair fans flanderizing characters isn't uncommon. Kneesocks can obviously function without Scanty, even in S2 she has multiple jobs and saved Christmas on her own. 666 Candles just showed she's emotionally dependent on Scanty, but I'd probably be upset if my sisterwife of 6+ centuries stood me up on my birthday with no explanation.

Yeah, them. And you’re right that fans like to flanderize characters, but I really do hate that it’s the norm, and when people do that, you’re also erasing the qualities of what makes the characters so likable. Personally, it makes it that anyone in interchangeable when it comes to certain dynamics or pairings. If you want it a certain way, that’s fine but at least be a bit creative with how you make the characters/be in character.

Back to PSG, I don’t care for Daemoncest myself but it’s canon, so I respect it. I like to think that Kneesocks is the more dominant of the sisters, or a switch leaning towards dom. I think with her, it helps her blow off steam on times where Scanty is being too reckless/overwhelming and she can vent her frustrations with Scanty out in a consensual manner without fucking up their relationship.

Yeah, I'm generally not a fan of people twisting characters to fit a particular dynamic. Though PSG fans are far from the most egregious in that regard.

As for Daemoncest, I think they're both switches. DC Confidential gave me the the impression they like experimenting and I don't think either would limit themselves to being just a dom or sub. That said I could see Kneesocks being a "harder" dom and Scanty being more gentle.

I’ve been in fandom for many years, so I’m aware. I can also acknowledge that I’m also a fucking hypocrite in that aspect too (the Scanty/Polyurethane crackship on topic, and other pairings outside of /a/). I like to think I try to keep everyone in character as much as possible while keeping changes things to a bare minimum though. Trying to make things canon compliant while trying to figure how a noncanon pairing could work is part of the fun.

With a relationship as long lived as theirs, there’s no way it would be stale after all this time, so I agree they’re probably both switches. I guess part of why I didn’t like people’s new perception of Kneesocks is that it clashes with my perspective of canon. I just find it hard to see her as just a sub/crybaby, and with all the pictures I see, it’s the new perception of her now, which is annoying.

Personally I think Scanty x Urethane works alright for a smutfic. Less as a proper relationship and more as enemies-with-benefits. The episode gave you the setup. I could see Scanty tormenting him sexually and I could see Urethane liking it on some level. I think it's toxic and destined to fail especially if you remember angel juices burn demons and that's likely a two-way street but I see how you could get there.

As for Kneesocks my algorithm must be different since I just don't see much of her being a crybaby. There's some, but I don't think it's the consensus by any means. Magnitudes more people seem to believe Stocking has inverted nipples than Kneesocks is a pure sub.
