We can cuddle for short periods, yeah, enough for an episode of a show but not a whole movie. We do this weird extended hug thing too, where she'll hang her arms around my neck and let me carry a bit of her weight. That lets us talk and kiss and all that. Episode 13 is my favorite episode of the entire series - and maybe of all anime. The episode is filled with little vignettes of the characters on their own, with their own unspoken thoughts and worries, trying to work things out on their own and sometimes having a rough time of it. There is an attention to detail in the animation of these little scenes - in the expressions of the characters, in the slightest variances in their expression or the minute movements they make - which makes you feel like you're seeing inside their hearts, into hopes and fears they might not even know they're experiencing. This episode really shows how Kyoani could do what everyone else was doing, but not everyone could do what Kyoani was doing.
The episode is very well paced. The keions all start out alone, meeting only briefly in the music room before breaking off to be on their own again. And while they're on their own tension is slowly building this entire time, and the OST reflects that. At the climax, when several characters are at their breaking point, "The Other Side of the Evening Sun", a synth track dripping with anxiety, picks up and you feel everything is about to come crashing down.
But just then, Yui sends a nonsensical text to everyone and breaks the silence between them, bridges the gaps, and brings them all back together. Now there is no tension, no fear or anxiety. Everyone is together again and the problems of just moments ago seem so small.
The episode is a rare look into the true hearts of these characters that you only get a few times over the course of the show. It's a message of hope and friendship, and a soft encouragement that you don't have to try and do everything on your own, and that you don't need to keep your fears to yourself.
And it's the best Ritsu episode as it shows a soft, vulnerable side of her you literally never see again.
I really love this episode and I encourage anyone to watch it on these sometimes bleak winter days.

I just watched the entirety of Keion for the first time and was blown away by season 2.
Season 1 was very moe moe like GuP. It was cute and cozy and I liked it, but that was about all. Season 2 on the other hand was a fucking cinematic masterpiece. It was so thematically rich, and the themes were constantly reinforced throughout the entire season in subtle yet noticeable ways.
The very first episode, there's an archway with blooming flowers, filled with keions, contrasted later on by the very same archway in winter with only Azunyan, Ui and Jun.
The festival where Azunyan is with the other keions, being dragged along by Yui, only to be split up when they reach the crowd and Azu is left behind with Ui and Jun.
The subtle shift across the season to focus more on Azunyan. The constant reinforcement of the idea of moving on and passing the torch to the next generation. I thought the show would just be more cute girls doing cute things, but it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever had the pleasure of watching.

Yeah, season 2 is really a masterpiece. I wish it had been season 3, and we got a full season that long for each year of the girls. Instead we got Yui kinda finding herself in that first season, and becoming a leader, which is cool and all. But her story in season 2 is stronger too, figuring out what she actually wants to do next, basically following Sawako's footsteps. Azusa of course found her band in season 1, and is faced with losing it in season 2. But it's really not the end. Not as long as she has her boyfriend Ton-chan.

I fell in love with the show, with the genre, and probably with anime on the whole as well. That scene is still, to date, one of- if not- my favorite scenes
