Imagining being alone in a void or simply ceasing to exist and my conscience being fully gone is extremely scary and it makes me not be able to do it. Me. I actually read up until the part where Airi got her hair cut when it was coming out but dropped it (for no reason) and I'm enjoying the chapter a day pace, plus some discussion to go with it.

I hope next chapter is a Ichika/Yoshimi one. Really hope there's some interesting developments with Yoshimi since this whole thing is her fault.

All the time. It feels like living is an obligation to others. Airi's relatable here, the way every thought leads to gridlock. I want to say having a Hina would make it better but I can see exactly how it wouldn't. You don't know if you can trust her but she's your only lifeline which is its own source of resentment and creates a feedback of self-loathing that leads to more self-destructive behavior. Did it get axed? While this seems like a good enough point to end it, I feel like it could go on for a good bit longer without dragging. There's a lot of shit that could happen with the duo on the run. Plus while I like the Ichika plot ending there with the implication she'll fuck with Yoshimi and Yuuko, I would also love to actually see it happen.

There's hearsay Manio wanted to end it a volume earlier and Ichijinsha pressured her to extend it. The manga was very successful and is still getting reprints so it definitely ended where Manio wanted to. I could see Kitakawa growing into some 50+ chapter drama rollercoaster and that wouldn't be such a bad thing but I think it's nicely succinct. Very few yuri manga hit that sweet spot, between axed and spinning their wheels with success.
