I started reading the manga and while I think the changes to the timeline and pacing are slightly better in the anime, especially the first episode which introduces Happy et al earlier than the manga, I was wondering why they were putting off this particular arc for so long. I guess they just wanted to establish the characters a bit better and get most of the hero party stuff out of the way first.
Not sure how the anime adaptation compares to the WN or LN, so this also could just be how it was in one of those two instead of the manga.

The glaring quality in the 2nd half of the episode was hilariously bad. I liked that they brought teal and gargoylebro to the mansion though despite it not really making much sense.

Gargoyle Sugita and his childwife were a really good addition to the cast, I doubt they stay relevant after this but they being there is enough.
