Honestly, Scarlet’s been the highlight of the arc for me. It's hilarious how mean she gets whenever she interacts with someone she hates.
The arc's structure reminds me a lot of RS, in the sense that the protagonists are separated so they can each shine in their own storylines. Let's pray they don't cage Letty inside a flying car

ZA was a humiliation ritual for XY characters.
Of course it'll be easier to place DPP into PLA considering the time-travel/isekai plotline and the ambiguity about if Akari/Rei are actually Dawn/Lucas after losing their memories.
You cannot do the same with ZA because the MC is a completely different person, the previous MCs go unmentioned, Tierno and Trevor are overseas and Shauna doesn't even get mentioned.
One actually has half the work done and the set-up activates the almonds. The other you have to do everything yourself. It's not about nostalgia, it's about effort and potential.
