S2 gave every one of new characters more episodes than Quartet Star in the whole 2 seasons running (4 for each) in a row. The thing is that this is not different from Phase 1 from Himitsu (with Himari, Mitsuki and Sakura/Tamaki songs together). So there's a real possibility that the whole cast gets even less distributed episodes than you imagine.
Although I think it won't even change that much. Onegai 1 for this trio,Onegai 2 for Olivia and Olivia/Gumi duo, Onegai 3 for Nana and Emma, and Nana/Emma duo, Onegai 4 for group songs, Onegai 5 for goddess and Onegai 6 with zero new songs til a secret 6-member song (since Onegai now has support for it it seems).
Your single hope is that the cast is technically a bit smaller, really.

Just watched onegai ep1.
As someone that tried AiPri ep1 and disliked it, this one is decent in comparison.
Character designs are better, the story while a bit standard has a better framing, the setup of helping secondary characters makes it feel a bit retro, almost Doremi/Precure-like in a way?
A bit disappointed with the blue girl, she has a good ENTER but then I can't quite grasp her character with the rest of the episode, couldn't they have added something a bit more iconic for her introduction? It can be justified if she already has some agenda with the MC later on but if not then it's somewhat lacking.
The characters in the ED made a good impression, I'm curious to meet them.

I thought about replying with "No, fuck off" right away, but decided to give anon a chance. Since he couldn't get into Pripara, the only other thing he could try that is different is Pretty Rhythm. Prichan is kind of like a diet Pripara if you squint and Primagi is Pretty Rhythm, but worse. AiPri is a hyper diluted mix of both.
