So next arc will be about an evil witch, right? Feels like these guys have to be being introduced to that end.

I could see one of the remaining "Seven Stars" of the World Hater coming up with some plan where they found a witch that they could fully manipulate and then had her acquire themself. Then they just have her cast their spell to let them out and now they have free reign to destroy everything without fear of their trial getting in the way.
Though obviously the witch would then become an issue as her mana could run out or she could be stopped physically, so maybe there'll be 2 of the Seven Stars again with one covering the witch while the other uses her.

Makes sense to me, it's nice world building because the setting kind of breaks the second you think "but what if there were evil witches". Cause if there was evil witches that only good witches could deal with that would completely derail the focus of the plot being on the magiks.

Plus I don't know how you think you could have a setting about magic and witches WITHOUT there being any kind of witch hunters.

There hasn't really been a lot of that in Iruma. Even when Iruma went on his evil period, there was all of one bit where he made his friend who is a girl sit on his leg and pet her, but then really nothing else. The main "romance," if you can call it that, is with an amazon and it's pretty cheesy and sweet. And most of the guys are pretty standard dudes and there's not a lot of "strangle dude" types running around. Most like that is the main villain rival of the MC, who is naturally way more fujo coded than yumejo.

What she seems to like is really tall, pretty demon men who makes girls pregnant.
