Shonen Jump is the biggest magazine in the world. You get the prestige of being in it. And many eyes will be on your series which means higher sales. If you make it, you will see your series get decent quality anime (since post kny).

Go to Shonen Champion, you will work on your series for half decade, sell only few thousand copies, and still not get anime. Even if it does get one, there's a high chance it will be cheap anime.

Go to Shonen Sunday, and it's kinda similar to Champion, except it's harder to survive and the chance of getting cheap anime won't be as high.

Go to Shonen Magazine, and you will have to fight nepotism there. If you make it, you will definitely get anime. But there's a chance it will be sent to Tezuka and SynergySP slaughterhouse.
