Maybe, but it’s always been like this honestly. There are penty of bad manga-to-anime adaptations out there, but I can’t think of a single one where the studio gave less of a fuck about the work they're adapting for so many years. It’s like everything that could be done wrong in the One Piece anime is done wrong, even the fucking openings suck.
