>>288575451 Looked at user reviews on sites like cmoa https://www.cmoa.jp/title/customer_review/title_id/76203/?site_kbn=1, looked at who was faving/rting yoshimura kana's posts (including the graphic giant boobs strapon sex or incest scenes), it's the same reason they like Valkyrie Drive and Ekaterina Kurae basically but the protag takes it to another level >>288575504 Nah, it's for bislut women (good).
Murcielago is a complete masterfully done manga filled to the brim with unapologetic amounts of sex and gore
But it did overstayed its welcome pretty fast
It was a masterpiece for like 5 arcs Then, out of nowhere, mechs were introduced which greatly reduced the intimading aura of the MC
Then they added the Ghost samurai which completely nulled her threat level to trash
It completely jumped the shark when the super drug (introduced in Chap 1) went from just turning people into berserkers into performing literal mindcontrol
I cannot wait for the anime but I hope that it ends with just 2 seasons at best. Manga went off the rails and I am not sure if it ever picked itself back
>>288575519 I disagree it was serialized in a Square Enix seinen magazine, the character designs always seemed like they appealed more to the otaku into dark fantasy
>>288575297 About fucking time. I was convinced we would never get an adaptation at this point. Although the amount of censorship it will get is worrisome.
>>288575601 kuroko is a classy stylish pimp murderer with alucard vibes and huge tits. that shit's an ovaries destroyer for any of the the BL/TL manga crowd that's open to yuri (and a lot are), come on
>>288575519 Is there more nuance to the term "fujo" that I'm not aware of? After all most of the women here are either leaving generally positive reviews or praising yhe yuri aspects of this manga. You see, I was assuming you meant girls that are into man-on-man would somehow bring discussions of that into Murcielago. Which was confusing me a bit, haha.
>>288575297 Nice. >>288575583 Even 2 seasons is greedy. I dunno what they are going for, but I'd guess it's just a 1 season ad for the manga and merch, like most anime adaptions these days?
>>288575318 I don't get why you obsess over this when aside from that and the Dai no Bouken movie he has literally gotten everything right, like just the other day he revealed Historie and Thunder 3
>>288575704 I don't disagree necessarily, the women who I remember were into Murcielago were more analogous to those that were into fujo shows of the past
>>288575725 There is a large contingent of retards here who have no idea what the Japanese loanwords they're using actually mean. They think fujo means "shipper" in general, or just women who look at drawn porn. They think seifuku refers specifically to sailor uniforms and not school uniforms in general. And you probably already know that they think "doujinshi" means H-manga and not "self-published product"(including non-comic works).
>>288575792 That's not just here though and if anything the small minority of people who know what those terms mean here are an even smaller minority everywhere else.
>>288575792 no I meant BL fans. try again. >>288575725 no it does mean yaoi/BL fans but yaoi/BL fans aren't always JUST yaoi/BL fans. I mean that Murcielago has a lot of traits they like. I also said TL manga fans (different thing but similar ballpark) >>288575743 I only did once because I wanted to praise 7menzippo for Nonke Onna & share some thoughts with her, she mentioned the conversation on social media and I'm pretty sure I contributed to why she submitted the manga to the "for women" section on cmoa & reached 1st place on both that and the "TL manga" section.
>>288575792 >They think fujo means "shipper" in general, or just women who look at drawn porn. Surely this can't be correct. Maybe a small handful of tourists, but how could anyone who frequents /a/ and consumes any form of otaku media outside of the most mainstream shit not be fully aware of what a fujoshi is? >And you probably already know that they think "doujinshi" means H-manga and not "self-published product"(including non-comic works). This one is definitely true. So never mind. I'll now have to assume a whole lot of people don't know what fujoshi actually means.
>>288575297 I had always heard that the reason this never got an adaptation despite selling decently in Japan was because the author was too autistic and kept turning doing studios, why was he rejecting them? Was it due to censorship or something else? I had completely given up on this and I really cannot think of a single studio that can adapt this now that Black Lagoon's staff retired and BONES has way too much stuff in their hands currently to do a Murciélago adaptation that has the right atmosphere
>>288575687 bang you would be perfect. im surprised he havent picked her up yet. the guy loves to humiliate lesbians, tomboys and boyish girls in general. then again the author of murcielago is pretty combative about yuri and might give him shit.
>>288575297 still getting translated? i thought it stopped because author got angry or something.
Maybe it's because the only yuri manga I read are Alien 9 and Murciélago so I've never entered any thread solely dedicated to them but is every yuri thread this insufferable?
I just read this series and now they announce the anime. This is a welcome surprise. This really strikes me as something that wouldn't get adapted without a lot of changes. Only studio I can see doing this is Passione or maybe Asahi since they Mahoako which I honestly thought was also done by Passione
>>288575413 I guess Kamen Rider Spirits since they made a new animated label and both of their recently anime did well? Surely the author has gotten over his autism by now right?
>>288575399 Hardly, it's just going to be the usual male yurifag. The artstyle and braindead story doesn't appeal to the usual bi/lesbian yurifags and the author being a staunch right winger will scare off any Western fujos from even virtue signaling support for "a yuri that's finally about adults and not moeshit". There will be a 90% overlap with the GOMG fans and it'll be a smaller fanbase since eve male yurifags will find the artstyle offputting.
>>288575297 >>288575780 I remember a long time ago when this topic came up someone said that the school bullying arc would stop it from being adapted because of it's contents. Given that it involves schoolgirls raping other schoolgirls, bombs, the protagonist killing students, and a bunch of other stuff. >>288575911 Protagonist is an unhinged super killer only interested in fucking other women, gov keeps her on a leash to hunt down crimes committed by other colorful wacky super killers. I think >>288575982 has it, imagine if Alucard from Hellsing was a lesbian killer instead of vampire, but personality-wise there's overlap I think.
>>288575992 >>288576035 Granted, it's been a long time but I don't remember her fucking any guys, it's only her fucking her way through a bunch of different women that she helps/saves during her cases.
>>288575297 >>288575905 >>288575871 My guess is that this will be made Passione's Ishura staff? Passione still does uncensored ecchi their most recent one being Nukitashi and while Ishura doesn't have ecchi it's their most action oriented show and the closest thing they have to horror, plus Ishura didn't get a season 3 announced so the staff is free
>>288576073 I'm caught up with the english releases and I don't remember anything like that happening either. So it'll have to be stuff in the unreleased japanese volumes, or it's just random bait to stir shit.
>>288575939 1. Yes, the yuri general on this board is an invasive colony that consists of the run-off from /u/ 2. No this is not a yuri thread really 3. Alien 9 is not yuri
>Historie is getting an adaptation >Steel Ball Run is getting an adaptation >Biscuit Hammer got an adaptation (monkey paw) >Sengoku Youko got an adaptation >Tank Chair is getting an adaptation (monkey paw) >Sentai Red Isekai got an adaptation >Dodge Danko is getting an adaptation >Witch Hat Atelier got an adaptation >Tanya is getting a new season >Dorohedoro is getting a new season >Good Night World got an adaptation (monkey paw) So many never ever getting adapted, at this point I feel a Dowman manga getting an adaptation isn't a pipe dream
>>288576155 I don't have the panel but the contrast was hot. His muscular Black body plowing her pale skin. Expect chuds to meltdown if they ever show any mentions of it.
>>288576168 Passione although never in the same show, Nukitashi and Interspecies Reviewer by them had sex and uncensored titties while Rokka no Yuusha and Ishura by them had gore
>>288575962 >>288576002 I'm not really a "worshiper", I just use exaggerated contrarian wording. I think /u/ posters are really silly in hating them so much (again talking about the Japanese ones) when they support stuff like this >>288576175 Aesthetically.
Yes, it has sex but it is not sexy It was a gratifying amount of horror, gore, and body horror Many characters end up losing limbs and Kuroko herself had her tongue cut
One of the villains were 2 people stiched together
>>288576171 I'd commit genocide for a complete adaptation of Kaminomi. But that's ACTUALLY never going to happen. We never even fucking got an official English release.
>>288576211 Anon the volume extras have sexy yuri sex purely for ecchi purposes, the main manga itself also occasionally has scenes like these It's an ecchi manga, it's just that it's also action horror, I don't get why are you insisting it isn't all three?
>>288575939 >>288576236 The only part of this thread that was mentally ill was that repugnant faggot making up shit >>288576244 retard, he's obviously trolling for reactions, raceplay niggers are some of the most disgusting subhumans ever. I didn't think I would see one here, they're more present on /v/
>>288575911 I see people making comparisons to Alucard, but I always saw more similarities between her and Rance. They're both murderous, brutish people hyper obsessed with sex and sometimes have a childish/playful side.
>>288576211 You're retarded. There's tons of mindless ecchi shit in this series. The series only two things 1. degenerate fetish pandering, 2. Gore shock value.
>>288576293 >>288576231 >>288576257 By Sexy, I mean nothing but just teasing. If it is full naked with actual interaction, then that's just sex
Mucielago has no teasing. It just gives it blatantly and it keeps the sex for the end. Fighting is actually violent with no sexual innuendos or whatever
>>288576319 Not him, but nobody will say Mucielago is particularly deep but it's very fun especially in the early volumes. Obviously it has great artistic value
>>288576287 No it doesnt. Its because you are liar or blind or retsrded. Only the wanking is similar and comparing her to Alucard is farfetch when his every aspect is different.
>>288576365 >but it's very fun Maybe if you're autistic and have the attention span of a goldfish, forgetting everything you see seconds after it happens.
The series is a textbook example of a one trick pony. It has literally nothing in it except sex jokes and gore jokes.
Wonder if they'll get the same VAs they got for the vidya collab Also what's up with the guy making shit up in the thread acting as if RAWs aren't publicly available?
>>288576381 I'm not a normalfag so all that matters is if it executes on its sex jokes and heavy gore which it does in plenty. You seem like a fag obsessed with just the Nausicca and Berserk style seinen manga that are serious
>>288576403 Crazy how hard you got mind broken by a single post, and how that mod read you so hard that they new putting "god" in the name field would make you go spastic.
>>288576302 >Fighting is actually violent with no sexual innuendos or whatever That doesn't mean it's not an ecchi manga, dipshit. 2.5 Jigen no Ririsa usually doesn't do overtly sexual shit during its big cosplay showdowns, or when it's giving surprisingly thoughtful treatises on love. But you'd have to be psychotic to say that manga isn't ecchi. Some shit covers multiple bases.
>>288575297 I need to see receipts before I can hope. The Black Lagoon of yuri getting an anime is too good to be true. Black Lagoon could do with another season too....
>>288575905 Does David Production even has the budget to do another show besides what they're currently making? They seem to be having several budget constraints these days thus their Netflix deal, the weird release schedule with jojo and them seemingly having to lent Undead Unluck to another studio despite David being the ones who approached Shueisha to adapt it because of how much they liked the manga My guess is it'll Passione, they aren't optimal in terms of atmosphere and animation quality but they're the only recent studio that comes to mind that can do action, gore and nudity while getting a decent budget and they seemingly have enough free staff to have a Murciélago adaptation done for Spring 2027
>>288576443 Making up definitions won't prove you4 argument correct. It's objectively an ecchi manga. If it were categorized as pornographic, it would be published in an explicitly 18+ magazine, not a seinen magazine. It is, by industry definition, an ecchi manga. You're fucking stupid.
