Jannies smacking people for posting Halo Jackals in an alien porn thread again... but still don't have the balls to come in here and just say "Jackals are furry, so sayeth we".
Probably because they all had them snipped off.

You'd better not hold your breath. The last time I'd witnessed mods actually explain why threads were getting pruned was over 10 years ago on /a/, and the mods there have always been more active than any other board. It didn't stop people from making the threads either, so it's safe to assume it's just policy. The enforcement of 'anthro' rules has always been arbitrary. Back when I had worse taste than I do now I used to frequent monster girl threads on /jp/ and those would get routinely and arbitrarily nuked as well. It's mostly up to whether or not the mods got their hotpockets that afternoon.

That being said, the enforcement's been getting more lax over the years. The rules banning any kind of anthro art were also relaxed to only pr0nography. I can only assume /trash/ was created to act as a pseudo-/fur/ board without looking like they were betraying their 'principles' from the founding. I suppose there's some instinct to clutch to the 'old internet' but you need to remember that according to 4chan staff, posting cartel dismemberment on /gif/ is more conscionable than posting a reptilian alien on a pornography board that simultaneously allows AI generals that aren't even remotely 'cartoon.' Furfags have always been an easy punching bag, but these days, I'd take 100 furfags in a thread over a single sharteen.

So no aliens that are remotely reptilian, mammalian, avian, or anthropoid?

>Instead, bathed in white light, something wholly unfamiliar stood before him. The figure was slightly shorter, coming up to his shoulders. Standing atop of four, thin legs connected at a waist, was a figure, bone white in colour. Smooth skin enveloped most of its surface, with a long, rounded tail snaking along the ground behind it. Above the tail and legs, he found a pair of limbs jutting from the sides of a torso, lightly hunched. Mounted atop the body sat an elongated head, though there was no signs of ears, nose or mouth. Instead, a clear dome covered the frontal upper section, behind which a cluster of dozens of marble-sized black orbs stared back, twisting and pulsing as it observed him. Trailing from the back of the head were a number of small, thin tendrils streaming from the skin, lightly waving in the air. As he thought he had taken the entirety of the being in, from a previously invisible seam a mouth swung open. Wide and filled with hundreds of sharp, triangular teeth, the black insides contrasted against its pale outer layers. Projecting from the back of its cavity were four pink tentacles, each flared as they reached their tips. Upon closer inspection, the larger, central organ had the three smaller ones connected to it, their openings flaring open and closed. It wore no clothes and had no apparent accessories or objects not part of its biology. As far as Sal could make out, it was sexless. That was, unless, those oral tentacles were going to start doing something obscene.

>One great indicator of the Sangheili's evolving attitudes towards other species was their interactions with humans in the decade following the end of the Human-Covenant War. During and immediately after the conflict, many Sangheili espoused the Covenant's position towards humans as being heretics, and humans were subject to much of the same cultural arrogance from the Sangheili that the other species received; perhaps worse. Even by 2552, however, a growing number of human sympathizers existed among the Sangheili youth,[91] and by 2558, the social landscape within the Swords of Sanghelios appeared drastically different with regards to humans. Specific examples include the development of a GEN-2 Mjolnir variant known as Helioskrill armor by a Sangheili weaponsmith,[92] training programs involving Spartan-IVs and Swords of Sanghelios troops in the ANVIL Initiative,[47] joint-operations between UNSC and Swords of Sanghelios in the joint-occupation zone against pirate raiders, cooperative weapons and technology research and development (Such as with regards to the Needler[46] and the ANUBIS-class Mjolnir variant's enhanced sensors[92]) as well as other cooperative endeavors between the two powers (Archivist teams[46] and Zeta Halo containment efforts[93]). The obvious practical nature of much of these endeavors strongly implies that the Sangheili have come to view humans as a worthy investment, investor and ally, which is in stark contrast to their culture of 10 years past. Even in more remote locations on Sangheili colonies the culture appeared to be undergoing remarkable change. It was noted by Olympia Vale during her travel to Khael'mothka that she met many Sangheili who had become tired of the war and who were intrigued by the idea of a human staying with them. There were of course those who would try to harm Vale if they could, however she learned who to stay away from and for the most part found herself in no personal jeopardy.[94]

Well... nine days is still faster than last time

Another peaceful chapter before things start ramping up, but if you ask me, these are my favorite parts. I was a little torn about some of the contents of this chapter, since I don't want people to get the wrong idea, but it shouldn't be too bad.

>Well... nine days is still faster than last time
Have not read yet, but what matters is that it remains consistent or improves in quality.
The worst books/stories to read (or shows to watch) are the ones that decline as they continue.

> things will ramp up
[Prepare For Action] intensifies

> Eigen LARPs as an almost-Paul Bunyan, a rickshaw operator, and an honest Ea-Nasir
Great mental image of Eigen just deciding to start jogging on a whim, and the Fyrixian's toy-sized wagon just starts bouncing along behind him. When he hears the screaming and sees what he's done to his passengers, he forces himself to walk slightly slower than normally for the rest of the trip out of consideration for his passengers.

> Nithry discovers that yes, "life finds a way" even in the bleeds
Oh she's such a cute nameless Fyrix that in no way could possibly be used as a dagger in the reader's heart later on! Definitely just making sure the reader knows what is at stake in this settlement on a daily basis, and certainly not a setup for a large and dramatic disaster as was alluded to previously happening repeatedly when the bleed-living Fyrix get "uppity"

> social stomach
Now i have imagine that if Nithry tried to do this by disappearing into a room with an empty bowl, and then returned with the blob of processed hisk on it... Things would've gone better in the moment. (Even if Eigen went into the room later and discovered it was totally empty.)

> armpit goo for payment; Eigen's social credit score will plummet in mere days
lmao, imagine being the one who pays Eigen in social credit goo, and then hours later you see him bathing the Viraas off him.

Never played Abiotic Factor, but I think games like that would benefit from having a friendly alien/monster/robot creature that you have a rare chance of encountering who can be recruited to hang out around your based and help you in various ways. That would be cool.
>>
Someone may already have worldbuilded this but I felt after thinking about it, this thread would have the most fun with this idea.
Gave an idea on a discord.
Say your the head honcho of like starfleet or some nondescript benevolent coalition of humans and aliens. You'd get to decide who gets inducted, and in some cases who gets uplifted.
I asked what would be the criteria for entry.
30 seconds later.
"The breed ability of their women".
This genuinely had me thinking and realizing the second order effects.
Humans are horny and I frequent nightmare waifus so I know the level of inhuman being humans are willing to fuck.
The way I figure it, if all aliens in the coalition are genetically compatible with himans, unless all alien species are just as horny as humans, without regulation, it's a question of when not if that this version of starfleet would be nothing but human-alien hybrids.
So yeah, kinda long winded, but horny star trek seems like a good setup for stories.
>>
>>9156553
I mean technically there ARE friendly alien critters. You get an Exor Cha guardian spirit in full exor set armor bonus, you can tame every pest and have your own army of flying spiky footballs, and the new update lets you tame peccaries. Not to mention your wife that follows you throughout the facility.
>>

i'm simply glad it was as good as it was for 3 entire games, even if it fumbled the landing

Mass Effect AU that swaps which aliens are humanoid and nonhumanoid (humans stay human, sorry CM Kosemen, no ugly bastard posthuman stuff this time) I did try to think of an alt-asari true form and thought of a gooey biotic filled slug thing with lots of tendrils they can shape into various body shapes. I realized "wait that's still pretty fuckable" later on so I have decided to share that bit of brainstorming with you guys to see if other people played with that concept more.

The problem I have with Andromedas premise is that they didn't explore the sociopolitical implications of an intergalactic colony ship entering the space of what might be an already established galactic community. Instead, you uncover some other ancient technological and fight THAT instead of the reapers this time. Whoa, how original. That's what people come to this franchise for, most definitely.

Andromeda was an utter sham from the first hour. You make FIRST CONTACT WITH AN ALIEN FROM A WHOLE DIFFERENT GALAXY... The game gives you a fakeout "we come in peace" only to go straight into combat anyway. Like, this is the whole point of playing a Mass Effect game and not Doom. Also, no translators or any sort of advanced first contact protocol aside from saying in english "WE CAN'T UNDERSTAND YOU".

Why did you set the game in Andromeda to begin with and not just made a side-quel or a prequel to Mass Effect if all of that juicy scifi of actually ending up in an entirely foreign world is barely explored at all. 5-10 hours in you might as well have been back in the Milky Way for how much it mattered.

Here's Chapter 36 of The Howler!

Three chapters in one thread. Slow month for xenophiles, huh? Either that or everyone's too afraid to post ayys because of the jannies. It's okay, I'm sure bugs don't count as furries.

A little more time with our glorious leader, as well as some rude awakenings. Things are slowly falling into place, but we've still got time to debate bug morality.
>>
>>9162719
Things are gathering momentum. This isn't even first contact for the Fyrix, so I have to wonder what this instance of interstellar interaction will mean for them, and how they might change from it.

>It's okay, I'm sure bugs don't count as furries.

Anyways, here's some probable errors i've seen:

>yet it was taking down by sticks and some string!"
"taking" should be probably be "taken"

>"Is that understood?" "Y-yes, understood!"
there's an unintentional line break between 'that' and 'understood'

> but it still demeaning
a missing 'was' between is and still?

> led into a building tall building
the prior 'building' seems to be an extra

> if there was thing I had
'thing' should probably be 'anything'

In general, a very good rising tension chapter.

That's genuinely the main reason I like generals like this. I unironically never come here to coom, I just like space/sci-fi/ayyliums stuff. For a porn thread, /xeno/ has some surprisingly good discussions about novel science fiction concepts and dynamics.
Like, >>9164120 is obviously sexual, but I mostly like it because it makes me imagine how a story about how a relationship between some guy and a shy tiny alien jelly fish piloting a robot body would play out. Imagine the cute and fascinating moments that could come from the budding romance between two people who are so vastly different, to the point one has to initially disguise themselves as a Human because they believe they're too weird.
That's what I think /xeno/ is really about. Not just hot aliens getting fucked, but moments that make you think about the beauty of the cosmos and the unknown.

Very cute, though, makes me want a fic like this
>>9165496
>>9165715
Not gonna lie, this kinda reads like two anons discovered the difference between romance literature and erotica haha
But I generally would agree, these threads are my favorite simply due to the fact that people are willing to discuss worldbuilding, biology, and long term consequences. It's like the opposite of regular porn, where you skip past the story to get to the fucking. With /xeno/, we pause and go like, "Wait, how did the world get this way? Can I get a lore dump on how the ftl drive works and how that's affected the past few centuries of space exploration? Also I can't get into it unless you explain how they're speaking the same language."
Funny enough, I have a romance novel idea that follows 3 interspecies relationships, and the one I have the most interest in and worldbuilding for is a non sexual relationship between a man and a collection of worms.
God, I love these threads. /xeno/ has been the closest I've felt to being part of an actual online community, warts and all. I love you, /xeno/. I hope every anon gets their alien husband and/or wife and lives long and prospers.
>>9162719

I used to think they could be real when I was younger, but as I got older and I learned what a "statistical impossibility" actually meant in relation to there being life out there, I realized that we're basically alone in the universe.

Like >>9166338 says, it's statistically impossible for Earth to be the ONLY planet with sapient life on it in the universe, but it's also statistically possible for someone like you or me to phase through a solid wall.

Now, aliens are very firmly a fantasy I enjoy, and if they're actually out there, they're likely either a colony of bacteria or some other basic form of life we wouldn't be able to integrate with on a meaningful level, too far away to ever contact even by mistake with something like a magic FTL drive, or worst of all, they don't exist yet because we're the first life to ever evolve in all of existence.
>>
>>9166747
>or worst of all, they don't exist yet because we're the first life to ever evolve in all of existence
That would be weirdly sad. Being the only people in all of existence is somehow sadder than alien life existing but being impossible for us to ever interact with due to vast distance between worlds.
Also, I've always really liked the idea of a sci-fi story where Humanity is the progenitor species that was the first to evolve, gain sapience and eventually explore the galaxy, only to find that we're truly alone in the universe (or at least the galaxy) so we take it upon ourselves to seed life across the Milky Way. I feel like that has to be a thing already. Humans being the ancient forerunners is a neat idea.
>>
>>9166753
Agreed, I vibe with this post
>>
>>9166329
Sapient alien life other than us is certain to exist. However the only thing that we can determine is nothing in the surrounding ~10k lightyears is advanced enough to be broadcasting anything. Humanity right now would only be detectable to the nearest 100 lightyears, ~10k stars (essentially nothing).
They certainly exist somewhere, but the possibility of ever meeting/communicating with other sapients before we annihilate ourselves is straight up zero sadly. We may find some sort of artifical signal if we are extremely lucky though.
I do like the idea that a long extinct super advanced race detected biosignatures on our planet 100M years ago and a planetary kill vehicle is already on its way.

Howdy fellers. It's been a while, but it's me AP posting a new chapter of Vipers, Nights, and French Fries. Chapter 16 is coming at ya with around 16,400 words of heart pumping excitement.

Synopsis is: It's time for the job. When you do work for the mafia you never know what's gonna happen. They meet up with a mechanic who may be Russian or Turkish, who knows, you get to decide. Crazy shit happens, lives are on the line. I don't think they're built for this line of work.

As always, I appreciate any and all feedback. Constructive, or not. Thanks for reading.

Been a while, as per the usual. Hope you guys had a happy Easter, I did.

As for intelligent life in a human sense, highly unlikely. Unless the aliens evolve more energy-efficient nervous tissue, large brains are a liability until the extra mass actually pays off and there is a good chance of the species driving itself to extinction through wars and environmental degradation not long after emerging. And this doesn't account for intelligence that is so foreign to human intelligence that it wouldn't be recognized as such by humans.

I literally forgot about xeno for years and was a surprise to enter again on a whim and see someone was making a viper fanfic, your work revived my love for snake ladies and xenophilia in general again. Literally just as I was done with your work, I just started to re-read all the good oldies again. Excited to see where the the stories go.
>>
>>9168700
Yeah, I was considering writing the scene for this chapter, but so much shit happened, I was like, nah we can start the next one off with a BANG! I’m happy people are chill with it, I was expecting to get so much shit for ending the chapter on a snex cliffhanger, lmao
>>9169002
Happy to hear it dude. I put a lot of work into my writing. Story is “almost” complete, I wanna say VNFF is 75-80% finished. Plenty more crazy shit left to happen.
>>
>>9169002
>I just started to re-read all the good oldies again
such as?
>>
>>9169040
Just finished On The Fringes, which I am pretty sure was not finished when I first read it. The ending and the little slice of life chapters were nice. Probably will continue with Advent Provides.
>>9169029
Damn is that close to ending? Really hope you continue writing about snake or space ladies in the future.
>>
On the one hand, I do not trust modern bioware with the mass effect IP whatsoever, but on the other hand, I need a revival of the mass effect IP so people start drawing quarians and turians again
>>
>>9169063
Oh yeah, I’m always gonna be writing stories about nonhuman ladies and human males. I’d like to make my writing my career if possible.
With VNFF, once I finish it, I’m actually gonna edit it, try to streamline the story, cut down on the word count, and remove all the Xcom references make it OC. With the goal of eventually publishing it. I’m gonna try to traditionally publish it, but if no one wants it or wants to change it too much, I’ll just self publish. I fully expect I’ll have to self publish, cuz idk who would want to publish slice of life McDonald’s snek fic, lmao.

I feel romantic monster and humans histories are still a bit too niche, even more the ones that are male/monster than female/monster, unfortunately. But if shit like "Morning Glory: Milking Farm" can get a few dozens thousands reviews, I believe there may be some hope. Also have you though about making a Patreon? I bet lots of people, including me, wouldn't mind giving you 5 or 10 bucks for a good story.
>>
>>9169138
Yeah, that’s about my assessment of it. I will say the demand for romance stories for a male audience is growing from what I’ve seen, and especially male human on female anthro/alien/monster stories. So I could make a decent case for it to a publisher I feel, especially since this story already has an audience for it.
I appreciate you saying that. I’ve considered making a Patreon, I already have a Kofi. People tip me some money there every once in a while. I haven’t made a patreon yet because if I was collecting money every month and only putting out a chapter every 2 months, idk if people would be into that. I don’t even know what perks I could offer, lol.
>>
>>9169163
Don't feel bad about someone supporting you a few bucks a month, especially if they chose to, as long as you feel you can be semi consistent with content. Can't be worse than what some porn artist/game devs do, where they will milk thousands while releasing WIPs for years
>>
>>9169178
A fair point. Maybe I’ll make one before my next chapter and mention it when I release the next one. The money would be nice. I’m planning on spending a lot on the book cover I commission for VNFF, so all of it would probably go towards that. I’m also planning on probably splitting VNFF into two books since it’s so long, so I’ll need two book covers, lol.

Interspecies xeno on xeno is underrated
>>
>>9169488
Yeah. Double amount of xenos to enjoy and it is usually free of self-insert and/or Gary Stu shit.
>>
>>9165496
Some of this is simply that there’s a lot more porn of furry sparkledogs (especially pkt mons) than more xeno type designs (okay a viper or Shanghelli isn’t too rare but I mean in general). I think some degree of it is there is that ideation of a symbiosis that emerges even with intelligent life forms from light years apart. So much to explore there still that it overtakes plain “get dick hard cum” themes a lot as there is a lot to prod at before getting fully into it.
>>
>>9169573
>Gary stu
That's a new take for me, what do you mean by that? Is it common? (nta, btw.)
>>
>>9169488
It's been janny slapped so many times that I assume people are wary of posting it.
>>
>>9169573
the faceless self insert can have its appeal...
>>9169685
not that anon, but gary stu is simply the male version of a mary sue, or put simply, an essentially flawless self-insert character

in my experience, it's very common in humanity fuck yeah (HFY) stories, or otherwise stories where the protagonist is some kind of moody military guy or some loner who just happens to have memorized how to smelt iron and how to make an internal combustion engine from scratch
>>
>tfw no tomboy xeno gf to get hammered with and pass out on the couch after listening to creed with
>>
>>9169783
Probably should've clarified that I was already familiar with the term. But that's kind of a good example of something you'd see around here. I was wondering what the other anon's experience with it was, because that's not usually a problem in the written works I see shared. On the other hand, I think it's not as fair to expect some more nuanced characterization in visual material that doesn't have much of a story attached to it. How often are you going to see flaws in a character written like a decent person in a single page or in something typically simple like porn?
>>
>>9169488
It has the exact rating it deserves.

Skin insect.
>>
>>9169685
As >>9169783 explained. I'm more referring to stories instead of singular images here; basically Chud McThundercocks that suck out any suspense out of the story and are often the vehicles for the author's vilest ideologies.
>>
>>9169783
>essentially flawless self-insert character
I am compelled to say that Mary Sue's worst facet wasn't even that she was better at everyone's job on the enterprise its that she was instantly well liked for it. The social aspect might shift with the gender but it still has to be there for the complaint to really be meaningful to the story. Conan was hyper competent at most everything he needed to succeed in his life and blatantly embodied Howard's social take of barbarity v civilization and you'd be a fool to assume his stories are uninteresting for it.
>>
>>9170475
if we're thinking of the same conan, I'd agree and wouldn't say he's a gary stu, as he's very clearly a musclebound lunk. that archetype simply fits the story and works for the protagonist- well you know what im saying better than i can explain it

What makes you think that aliens would want to fuck you, especially when females of your own species don't want to fuck you?
>>
How far would you go to be with a xeno gf/bf/xf whose biochemistry and environmental requirements prevent regular coexistence?

1. Have a long-distance relationship and only interact in virtual reality
2. Don a hazmat suit or have them don one when they visit your habitat, always a thick sheet of protective plastic between you
3. Spend a fortune on a remotely-piloted robotic avatar with full sensitivity
4. Undergo a process of permanent and irreversible consciousness transfer into an artificially grown body of their species
