1. Be specific - It's good practice to over-explain your position on something.

2. Don't be the biggest cunt in the world - Some people really are at their wit's end and have nobody but faceless strangers to help them. I know that asking people to show compassion here is likely an exercise in futility, but whatever. I think more interesting and generative interactions come about when there's at least a shred of good will present in a thread.


HOW TO DETECT POSSIBLE BAIT POSTS
1. OP has literally the worst life ever - ex. "My whole family just died in a plane crash and I got raped two hours ago, what do I do now?"
2. OP is a super-NEET - ex. "I haven't stepped outside in 30 years, where do I go from here?"
3. OP is making threats of suicide - ex. "I'm going to do it and nobody can stop me"
4. OP is the most retarded person on the planet - "Just shot myself in the leg, how do I stop the bleeding?"
