>Wear mismatched socks on purpose.
Mom told me "Don't be a retard again" and then smacked a pair of socks on my face.

>Ask a stranger what color their thoughts are.
told me to "fuck off"

>Hide a tiny note for future-you to find.
Just hid it inside my newly constructing house. Hopefully a tornado soon tears it apart :))

>Sing to your plants at 7:13 AM.
They are happy now.

>Order the most confusing item on the menu.
HELP, THE FAT MANAGER WANTS ME TO COME WITH HIM DOWN IN THE BASEMENT.

>Swap two bookmarks in different books.
Yeah sure did it and my dad's roaming around with a belt, fucking hell.

>Start a sentence with a smell.
<Farts> So the weather's pretty nice today huh? I love rain too. Lets open the windows a little for the sound.

>Carry one coin from a country you’ve never visited.

>Replace one emoji in every message today.
ok. will see how long it takes to get fired from the job today.

>Offer a compliment about someone’s shadow.

Reminds me of a poem, called 'Mude' (change) by the brazilian poet Edson Marques. It's pretty beautiful, but it is too lengthy to post in it entirety.

Change

But start slowly,
because direction is more important
than speed.

Sit in a different chair,
on the other side of the table.
Later, change tables.
When you go out,
try walking on the other side of the street.

Then, change your route,
walk down other streets,
calmly,
carefully observing
the places you pass.
Take different buses.
Change your style of clothing for a while.
Give away your old shoes.
Try walking barefoot for a few days.
Take an entire afternoon
to stroll freely on the beach,
or in the park,
and listen to the birds singing.

See the world from other perspectives.

Open and close drawers
and doors with your left hand.
Sleep on the other side of the bed.

Then, try sleeping in other beds.
Watch different TV programs,
buy different newspapers,
read different books,
Live different romances!

Don't let habit become a lifestyle.

(...)

You will certainly experience better things
and worse things,
but that's not what matters.
What matters most is change,
movement,
dynamism,
energy.

Only what is dead doesn't change!
