You can call anything a bug, because bug doesn't mean anything.
It's not a true bug, or hemiptera, though.

I'd call it an Invertebrate, as it is neither a Bug nor an Insect but is an Invertibrate.

worms are bugs. millipedes are definitely bugs. slugs and snails however are not bugs, that's where the line is.
it's harder to draw the bug line for ocean bugs like shrimp. crabs aren't bugs.
