Good evening scottish anon
Our national imageboards were popular for internet standards as well and there were a some brazilians here, but most zoomers have never heard about our national imageboards and they think 4chan is a criminal website lol
My cousin still hasnt commented nothing about it, i hope he really just doesn't knows

I cant imagine wearing a mascot costume during brazillian summer.

I'm specifically referencing the scene where the group works with frog costumes
Their payment was mikuru receiving a frog costume herself
I love mikuru so much

I agree. yuki's shyness means she dosent have much presence in the show and haruhi is kinda obnoxious (in a mostly good way) xD so yeah mikuru is basically the most likable character.

idk how american politicians manage to consistently do such wacky shit. like uk politicians do some bizarre shit but it always seems to have insidious undertones. american politicians doing weird stuff seems more lighthearted but that could he just because I don't live in the states so those retards being in positions of power is less scary for me.

interesting
yeah i guess there's probably complicated historical reasons
i have the impression that america was sort of a test bed for various political/advertising/psychologicalmethods during the 20th century which were all vaguely intertwined
maybe there was a stronger connection between "show business" and politics in general, along with a history of eccentrics in america & a looser/more casual culture
wish i knew more about the history of uk politics in comparison
dunno, shots in the dark...
>but that could he just because I don't live in the states so those retards being in positions of power is less scary for me.
i think this is true also
it's easy to treat the politics of other countries sorta like a TV show or parody, compared to your own country's politics which you've probably been socialized to take more seriously
i've seen some strange british politics stuff & found it more wacky than sinister, but may not have seen the things you mean...

I dunno lol that sounds like a pretty good explaination of it all. what you put forth as speculation I would say with confidence: its all just a blend of psychological warfare and theatrical shit. anything that can't be accounted for with those 2 things is just eccentricity
>i've seen some strange british politics stuff & found it more wacky than sinister, but may not have seen the things you mean...
yeah it may partly be because youve not seen some of the scarier shit but its probably 99% just because its not happening in your country. like every time trump does something that freaks people out it just seems like he's doing a bit

A lot of it has to do as well with how American politicans, especially the big ones tend to know their base really well and say what their constituants want to hear. There is a lot more pressure on American politicians to be entertaining to the voterbase to become more recognizable that that I don't see too much in the UK outside of the more fringe groups. I feel that Trump is a good example of this where he will say big things to get the media's attention, while a lot of the bad things that UK politicians are more open about are not as public in American politics.

when you turn on any american media (msnbc, fox, etc.) the commercials & adspace are completely bought out by insurance/pharmaceutical companies
it's fucked
but yeah i think you guys are right
what happened with trump was/is interesting, i feel like i don't have the words to explain it properly/carefully enough lol

A lot of that has to do with the two-party primary system where a candidate has to be nominated by his/her party to get on the ballot. This leads to candidates trying to draw as much attention as possible to get selected to run in the general election.
Another reason has to do with the sheer number of different American subcultures. Different states often cary very different cultural and economic beliefs from one another, which can often flare up in intense debate when deciding on national policy.

The hallucinations aren't the problem as much as the fact that I'm being mind controlled by aliens 24/7. My meds don't actually help with that but they do make the voices less likely to talk about how they wanna cut my foreskin off with scissors so thats good.

I don't have much paranoia, but I am being full body mind controlled. Like I just get dragged to do things I don't wanna do on the regular, the voices are in charge of what I do at any given moment and theyre a bunch of spastics. They're allowing me to talk to you at the moment but if they wanted to they could just walk me away from the computer and I wouldn't be able to do anything about it.

I wouldn't listen to chat GPT dude its known to mess with peoples heads and drive them deeper into psycosis.
aripiprazole can be good for a lot of people but its an atypical antipsychotic and some people find typical antipsychotics more effective.
you might just need a higher dose or to give them more time to work. if ur using the pills it may be a good idea to switch to injections because you won't miss doses and its only one injection a month which is easier than taking a pill every day especially if you sometimes don't have control over your actions.

Yeah I should probably get injections if the voices would graciously allow me to get them. Sometimes they don't let me take my pills. At the moment they're only letting me take my pills if my sister reminds me to take them, but they're not letting me inform her of this. She generally remembers but forgot yesterday. Like I said my voices are total spastics.

its not really intended for still images, you can use it to convert them but its not really what its meant for. 4chanXT is great because it automatically makes them the right file size and the converter is built into the post/reply form.
this is just one of the many really good features it has, it makes using the site like 10x better.

>this sounds like a very accurate description. despicable me ect was all so bad both story and animation wise but still managed to be the most popular shit ever.
>the 3D rigging ect was all done pretty well but every other visual aspect was so fucking soulless
ye, you understand
there's this effect when designing a character where the more detail you add, the harder it becomes to avoid the character looking grotesque
you can draw a smiley face with a mouth & two eyes, for example, and it'll look "nice" and inoffensive, but also vague and forgettable
this usually isn't a problem if you have a clear vision in mind, rather than just creating/detailing for the sake of having a character for your slop
the minions, for example, are a very inoffensive, "wholesome", vaguely likeable design, but that's purely because of how simplistic and nothing the design is
illumination takes advantage of this effect in pretty much all their media, and so they're able to have zero creativity/vision/design & zero attention to detail, all while getting praise/pay for it
another way they get away with it is the sentiment "it's media for kids, so it doesn't have to be good"
such a shame
there are also tons of visual continuity errors and plot holes in their stuff
i wanna say they made the 3D animated lorax remake, but i'm not certain
>>
>>23964408
>the 3D rigging ect was all done pretty well but every other visual aspect was so fucking soulless
this is true though
feels like they should be doing marketing/advertising
but if they can make hundreds of millions on people who don't care about quality of media, why not get ambitious & do it lol

100% agree. if u made them detailed they would be really quite grotesque.
>media for kids, so it dosent have to be good
yeah its realy disheartening especially when u compare it to the kino that kids grew up on before ensloppification. even "bad" kids movies from the 80s and 90s blow anything made today out of the water especially when it comes to animated film.
>continuity errors and plot holes
this seems to be very common in highly commercial media. probably investors demanding changes and the crew not having time to fix the errors.

i guess it's possible they could have a more distinct design without being grotesque, but they aren't interested in that..

dont be sad about being an introvert, if other ppl dont understand that's a problem with them not with you, being introverted is perfectly normal.
if you slowly build up to it you can become able to socialize more before feeling exhuasted and needing to be alone but with situations like family coming and staying in ur house the best thing to do is just set boundaries, explain that you need time alone but it dosent mean anything bad and its just because your "social battery" runs out.

i wouldn't worry about that metric too much, sometimes there's just not a lot to say
