All that matters is health.
I once had a problem with my knee due to muscles tension in my upper leg. Long story short it emulated advanced arthrosis pains. That shit HURT. 1 week of stretching made it go away completely.
This was 10 years ago. Things like that made me realise I don't care about money as much as I care about being healthy and PAIN FREE.
Being PAIN FREE is such a huge BLESSING.
I would rather be poor for the rest of my life living in a decrepit box and be healthy and free of pain than have 100 million and deal with bodily hell.
No thanks.

Money is great for the freedom of not having to work a job, but the longer you have it, the more you realize how many problems it doesn't solve. Can't buy a fit body, can't buy youth, can't buy good health, can't buy useful skills, can't buy friendship, can't buy a gf/wife who actually cares about you, etc. etc.
The best thing you can do if you're lucky enough to be in that position is to maximize your available time to invest in these other things.

my boomer dad gambled away about $550,000 throughout the 70s...and still got a perfectly loyal tradwife and a mcmansion house
idk how you even do that. what do you even spend it on and where do you even get that much money to piss away?
Boomers really were something else...

My mom married a billionaire after my dad died, his health is poor and I doubt he'll last more than 2 years, he's at least putting a 7mill house in her name, plus whatever they made after the marriage, but we're kinda fucked for now

As someone who has dealt with chronic health issues for 20 years and is finally maybe figured out how to heal myself, yes health is greater than anything else. Health is truly the only thing that matters. Without health you can’t achieve your full potential. I lost 20 years of my life. Who knows where I would be if I hadn’t been dealt this hand. But I never gave up and I am slowly reclaiming my health. Thanks be to God.

These anons understand. Money lets you remove certain legal obligations (debts) and it lets you trade for things in the marketplace. It doesn't do anything else for you. Those two things are important, but they're not everything in life.
