That's why I never understand those "if you save $200 a month for a 40 years in the S&P 500, you'll have gorillions by the time you retire!" But in reality a suburban house will be like 3-4 million dollars and a sedan will be like 300-400 grand in 40 years and that's a conservative estimate.
