If you can’t save up like $10-$15k for a down payment before you’re 40 you simply have no financial sense.

40 year mortgages are absolutely retarded but he at least disallowed businesses like blackrock from buying single family homes, which is a bigger effort than what Biden, Obama, or term 1 Trump tried

If you're smart you can save/invest money and pay down the mortgage quck enough to where the extra interest doesn't matter. It could also be good for people that have trouble affording shorter options, even a few hundred bucks a month can go a long way.

Livable 1bed1bath houses near me in a Midwest flyover state are priced at ~$200k. Interest rates are at 7%. I'm a full time wagie that makes around $45k a year.
Even if I kill myself there's still millions like me with no hope of owning a house ever. Best of luck everybody.
