i'm not saying every person needs to have the same accurate body as the character they are cosplaying as, call be fatphobic but seeing ugly ass fat pigs cosplay and expect compliments annoys me.
I don't know how they are not disgusted of being a fat bag, and looking like a pork compared to slim or fit cosplayers.

>in the case of the disabled one a lot of people are faking it
What do you mean? That 95% of those people with canes present as able bodied and 100% are female, is pure coincidence

>canes/scooters users
trying to move around a crowded vendors/dealers/artists hall and some hamplanet on a scooter is basically bulldozing through the wrong side of the aisle like its their personal lane

It's simple; get addicted to fast food (usually during college), then once you've achieved domain expansion from eating it all the time you either go through weight loss (hard) or give in to your addiction and choose to feel good through eating over being healthy and looking good (easy). It's the same reason why potheads look and smell like that, the mentality is who cares as long as you feel good.

They make the general area uglier by existing within it. They smell horrible, and their mobility mary scooters make it hell at smaller cons in the vendor area as they take up more room than a semi truck. I don't have any ill will towards the disabled, but fat fucks are disgusting and ruin things by being allowed to exist there

so basically you feel like you have to put in effort to tolerate their presence, and because they obviously can't put in effort to lose weight, it feels gross and disgusting to you.
I think you're just a disgusting person on the inside desu

To date I don't think I've ever seen a cosplay of pic rel that wasn't also a landwhale, which upsets me greatly. Most Fairy Tail cosplayers are fatties too but a hot Lucy will slip in every so often

I wish fats died in their 20's so we wouldn't have to watch them balloon up and to maximum capacity and then pop at 40. I will never have a fat friend because I would be mortified to be seen with a person with so little self control. You high-calorie pieces of shit are literally subhuman to anyone that puts in the bare minimum of effort. Enjoy

Fast food is still addicting in the third world, in some cases even more so than in the west because there are less regulations on sugar. If you're addicted and short on cash, you'd use your limited resources to get the food that you're addicted to, hence this paradox where the poorest countries still have many obese people.

if someone is going to a con or even in their room dressed as a character they like, it doesn't matter. it's not like they can drop 100lbs overnight because they don't look attractive to you
the point is, they're dressing up and having fun. you could be too

as a fat guy, I'm going with my D&D group to Armageddon later this month & intend to cosplay for the first time.
Marshall D Teach (One Piece) x Marshall Cuso (Common Side Effects)
both fat guys in open pink button up shirts. bought glow in the dark blue mushrooms, might make a sign and will buy Blackbeard pirate merch there.

As long as you're cosplaying a character who matches your body type, you have nothing to be worried about and that sounds like an amazing cosplay you should post pics. It's only when you're a three hundred pound hambeast stuffing yourself into a spiderman suit that you're just ruining everyone's experience.

My husband and I are big (not 600 pound butterball turkey big, but not petite, probably need to lose 30ish pounds) and we both like cosplay (I LOVE making clothes). Our first (so far only) cosplay was actually Shrek and Fiona, we painted ourselves green and everything. He even carried me over his shoulder and I acted like I was exasperated about it a few times. It was a ton of fun! It never seemed right to us to try and cosplay as a character we looked radically different than. I mean, we used stuff on our faces to look more like the characters because neither of us had the right face type, but that was something we were easily able to change. Dressing up as a petite Japanese schoolgirl when you're 600 lbs is just ridiculous, and I'll never understand why people do it. It's one thing if you like the clothes or do it privately or whatever, but it's downright distracting at a con, in my opinion.
Not only distracting because of how much they stick out and look bad, they tend to be rude and smell bad, too. If you're disabled, I get that it can be a struggle to lose weight, and I sympathize for a similar reason. And you can let a certain amount of being overweight go, maybe you eat more fast food than you should because you're busy or you cope with stress by eating an extra serving of dessert, whatever. But by the time you're pushing an extra 40, 50 lbs you HAVE to realize there's a fucking problem here. I can't exercise much so when I lose weight I go on a water fast. It sucks for like 3 days and you feel like shit then you hit the mania part of your fast and it's smooth sailing from there. If you're someone who CAN hit the gym or reliably go for walks then you don't even have to be that drastic about it, someone the size of OP's pic could literally just put one less scoop of food on her plate and go for a 15 minute walk every day and start losing weight. I DON'T. GET IT.
What is the point of cosplaying a character unless you're trying to LOOK LIKE them?

At least when it comes to cosplay, it's better if you try for things that actually fit the body type. There's a handful of fat anime characters that definitely work.

Junk food tends to be cheaper than produce in some places. It's a similar issue in the US where healthier foods tend to be more pricey unless you know how to cook (in which a shockingly large amount of people don't). Then again, the main US advantage is that portion sizes are so huge you can end up with leftovers often, so it does save you quite a bit of money if you're not a big eater.

In Germany it's pretty hard to find a fat cosplayer. If fatties go to cons they just go there in regular clothes.
Also I'm 5'6" and 125 pounds. It's not fat but also not anime girl or Nora Fawn level of skinny. Should I lose weight? All my friends tell me it's stupid and that I'm hot but it feels like they're trying to sabotage me.

Sounds like you're a retarded ana-chan with zero self awareness, individuality, and cognitive ability if you weight 126 pounds and somehow thinking you are not skinny fat. Your friends being rational and you brushing them off as "setting you up" tells me you're also some sort of schizo.
