Exactly what it says in the title, is it worth the fame, and money? What should I be warned about it?

just know that many of the girls that get retard lips and a pose dior handbag have gotten literally shat in their mouths by the petrol muslim royal family, I wish I was making this shit up, honestly, I'm kind of glad that is happening, they "earned" it

Ohh, like a giftlist where it could be customers, cosplays petitions, accessories, sets and more?
Also is it better to be out there in cons, erotic events, and be public about it or do it like some Asian accounts where they hide face and socials but still post the erotic content at high quality?

What I hate more than Onlyfans, women whoring themselves out, and women who pretend to like anime and pollute the community are the retarded men here who willing spend their money on these chores, subconsciously aware that they do not care for you, and will never get with you. That's even more pathetic than the whores themselves.

As the fanservice whore, I have an interesting opinion about this
I felt before anime became mainstream, most of the popular girls or even the well endowed ones were legit fans, now it's girls who failed to make it as a model or IG hottie so now they try to break it in cosplay or gaming
If I asked the fanservice girl in 2019 to hang out we could go to a con and talk anime, play games, watch something
The popular girls in 2026? They have to go to the gym, then get surgery, then do fasting or talk to their nutritionist, then buy more makeup or drugs

It a waste of time. Unless you're absolutely smoking hot you will struggle to get a fan base and up just whoring yourself for less than a minimum wage job. Most girls that do this don't get anywhere. My ex became one and she's well off but she was honestly pretty smart and well connected and was able to sell herself.
To actually become anything by whoring yourself out (aside from actually being a whore) you need to be hot/cute, socially smart enough, and you need to be able to act. If you're just a dumb whore you're just wasting your time to become jerk meat for losers.

I'm a guy and I did a few scenes with women over the years and ran an account with my girlfriend. I did all of the chatting and pretty much just used her pics for enticement. The money wasn't as much as I was expecting. If you're shameless though and don't care about judgment (or if you're actually a cool chick and enjoy sex for its own merits and wants to make erotic memories) it can definitely be used as a supplemental income. I'm sure there are plenty that make their entire living this way but it really is a bit of a soul crushing grind, but that can be any work you're not passionate about

And that's the key, you have to have hustle.
Jessica Nigri didn't just show up at one con and get a ton of followers, she had to go to several, and got to know numerous key people behind the scenes at cons. You gotta be extroverted while not coming across as fake. Hard to do these days when there are already so many girls chasing that gravy train.

Nigri went viral in 2009? as the hot pikachu girl because back then hot cosplay girls were much rarer than today
15 years on the circumstances are much different now, Nigri got very lucky she was right place right time

Most don't realize this and think it's as easy as putting shitty pictures on Instagram. Cosplaying as a career is basically just a sales job where you're marketing yourself and networking with other creators and industry professionals. You can't sell a product (yourself) without being able to market well. Tons of girls ruin their lives because they get famous enough to have it negatively impact their lives, but not famous enough to make any real money besides maybe $100/month if they're lucky.

Its interesting to watch back then Nigri got memed as fake egirl and now shes basically the mother of all the e girls and sexy cosplayers
I've seen OF girls who go to con who are below 25 talk about her like an idol

We broke up in high school years before OF even existed. I only found out cuz a friend found her OF years later. Later I also ended up working with a guy who was basically her cousin. He told me her whole family knew that's where her money came from and it was very awkward every time she showed up to family events because they knew she was a whore. Extrapolating based on experiences I've heard second hand from others, it has potential to ruin your life because you can essentially ostracize yourself from everyone in your personal life. Your family and friends will judge you, and any male friends you have will just jerk off to you.
Genuinely though she was intelligent, double engineering major in university. She was always hypersexual though so I'm not surprised. I think her success came from her being charismatic, smart, and a natural whore.

There were tons of hot girls in cosplay back then, I knew quite a few myself. Most were just way more conservatively dressed, and Nigri just had way more mainstream appeal than most, she looked like a random generic porn blonde and wore costumes based on basic mainstream shit like Pokemon so she attracted a big audience from outside the cosplay scene.

That's the opposite of things I heard from people who actually knew her. I knew one person who'd done a commission for her, and then JNig lied and said she'd made it herself, and I was also staffing AX in a relatively high placed behind the scenes role the year she was a headline guest and then just didn't bother showing up.

meeting people is fucking awesome for the person supporting, would recommend considering if it meshes with your personality though. putting yourself out there has risks too, if you’re a quieter person that needs space you don’t need people who are slightly unhinged thinking you’re in some sort of relationship because they paid for a calendar one time and you were nice to them
