I enjoy the Dole Whip from the Enchanted Tiki Room.
Recently this place opened up near my house that does it just as good as in the parks. I should go back there this summer since Disney isn't in my budget anymore.

Not only does Pizza Moon (at Universal's: Epic Universe) have salad, but it's superior to those at Disney World. It just wasn't in the particular photograph.
DisneyAdults lose again.

You're already on vacation. Just spend the money on something good.

Donkey Kong is the only video game character I look back at and appreciate. Guy fucks. Can't say that about Link, Samus, Mario or Star Fox and Kirby and Yoshi were super gay.

It's quality theme park food. Entree salad too, not a side salad. It's going to cost money.
>>
I always loved the theme park food and drinks that came in collectable unique cups and other trinkets.

Always been iffy on popcorn buckets however. Don't really see much use out them, even if they fit the bill to what I describe.

Same. Pure landfill material. Just skip a step and throw it straight into the trash.
>>
>>21966947
No. You are thoroughly searched before being able to leave the park and if you're found in possession of the Kong mug ("Kug") the consequences will never be the same.

The butterbeer from the Harry Potter section of Universal is probably the only thing I bother getting when I go. Essentially cream soda with butterscotch foam, but its fair as is. Actually had the slush version last time, and that was some actual good shit.
>>
>>21969748
It's good, but I wish it were a little more...hearty? Thick?
I'm not sure how to explain, but I would like a version that were less sweet and more filling like a stout or porter. Maybe with a marginal 1-2% abv, like it's assumed to be in the books.

Butterbeer slush and a turkey leg was my absolute favorite combo anytime I was able to go to universal. i need to figure out how to make that shit at home, not only do i hate universal and refuse to give them money, even if i didn't i'm still not going to an entire expensive ass, crowded as hell itself theme park just for a dumbass turkey leg and a slushie. but i also don't like the idea of going to the grave without ever having it again.
>>
>>21971252
Theres various DIY butterbeer recipes online but from what I've heard US has some secret recipe
Heres a decent alcoholic one, if you want it nonalc swap ale for cream soda or something

Shark sandwich, had a curry sauce and those glossy sesame crackers on it

It was funny because they had "shark nuggets" and we were saying huh wonder what the shark nuggets are
Because here that would be a novely name for chicken nuggets or cod or something
Then we got it and went oh..it's actually shark because Japan

Unfathomably based.
Maybe I'm misremembering or imagined it, but I thought when Islands of Adventure first opened, one of the Jurassic Park restaurants served gator tail nuggets.

Mickey has always been Topolino in Italian and the Topolino comic is sold internationally and is also officially licensed by Disney. It is part of my childhood and the reason why most italians love Donald and hate Mickey (he's a snitch know-it-all)

I don't have a specific food to contribute, but everything I ate when I went to Dollywood was really decent. Portion sizes were bigger compared to other theme parks, prices were also cheaper. We went during Christmas time and it was a very nice, obviously smaller, park with a lot of charm. It's well maintained and the rides and attractions might not be as expensive, exciting, or popular (no IP stuff, a plus IMO) but it is a family friendly park in a beautiful area, I believe it's gotten nicer in the past decade or so because I've heard from people who visited much longer ago than I had who didn't have as good of a time as we did. That being said the south sucks for the most part and the surrounding area while nice to look at isn't the best or nicest place in the world, it's just the same touristy stuff you'd expect. If I still lived within a couple hours drive I would visit again, it made for a nice weekend trip. We went to the stupid pirate dinner show which was more entertaining than I expected, but the food sucked and it should've been much cheaper.

Pretty sure that's the Ghost Buster trap. The pink isn't really a hopper, but the "light" coming out of the box.
>>
>>21966912
I need to try that. I want that mug for my desk.
My favorite thing to eat at a theme park is a Boudin sourdough bread bowl with clam chowder and it's at California Adventure.

The train was a real highlight of the trip. We rode Cinderella, and I believe at the time they were alternating between two different trains. We visited during Christmas time so there was themed music/narration played on the speakers while we rode, along with lots of decorations and lights along the route. They were still running on coal then too, I believe they're all oil now. I now live a couple thousand miles away, but when we lived closer we considered season tickets because they were so cheap and we enjoyed it so much.

Knoebels amusement park is a tiny little park tucked out of the way in the middle of PA, but it has an amazing selection of food. Last time I went the prices were low, the quality was good and the counter girls were cute. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

The butterbeer was really good, but I did wish they had an alcoholic version. Maybe their market research/IP team said "fuck no!" Walking around Diagon Alley with a regular beer just feels wrong, though.
>>
>>21979167
They have like 3 or 4 special beers brewed for the parks, when I went years ago my wife and I tried them and they were all fine. I think we got them at the Hogs Head? The tattoo shop in Diagon Alley is still one of my favorite pieces of theming in any park I've ever been to. As retarded as HP and everything surrounding it can be, the parks really hit the nail on the head. At ~22 we were still into enough that we really enjoyed it, I probably still would but maybe not to the same degree.
>>
>>21979236
I tried "Duff" across the way. It was a basic red ale or something. The bartender said it was made by a local Florida craft brewer. I guess that's what I meant. I want my Harry Potter alcohol to taste like something I'd never even imagined before.
>>
>>21979248
Yeah I think I had one of those too. None of them were anything special, I totally agree with you, something really unique would be nice. I think they're getting rid of the Simpsons area? Huge bummer the food area there was great, the ride was just fine though but it was a reskin so not surprising, carnival games also didn't really fit but idk what else you'd put there.
>>
>>21979251
The theming of Simpsons land was great, but going on the ride just made me depressed, because it's a reskin of the legendary Back to the Future ride, which I went on RIGHT before it closed, same as JAWS. The new version just sucks. I'd rather they tear the poor girl down and do something else in the space. Same with Alien Encounter at Disney. Shits an abandoned building now.
>>
>>21979263
The baby powder smell left me with a headache. I didn't get to go on it as BttF, and I missed Jaws. Twister was still there and I enjoyed that. Fear Factor was still there, that was fun too. I'm gonna have to look up what that ride was like as BttF..
>>
>>21979273
Oh man, Twister scared the piss out of me as a kid. Yeah, look up ride videos on Youtube. They're pretty much all there. For removed attractions, they're all we've got. For Jaws, I think the most popular one was the final performance. The skipper really let it out.
