The first time I tasted ranch flavour was Cool Ranch Doritos. It's just not popular here in Oz. You can get it but there is maybe only one or two brands like picrel. I've never see Hidden Valley ranch in stores here

ranch not being popular in japan is news to me. there's so much those gooks don't understand, cheese is also apparently one of them, like it's hard to find good cheese because they just don't fucking get it. texas bbq apparently goes hard if an american opens a store like that there. they also infamously get filtered by root beer and green pepper.
as much as they show themselves off as being such supertasters that they even invented their own made up sense of taste, they sure are shit at eating anything that tastes good.
