Hello from across the pond
I'm having mango oatmeal
Maybe I'll try barley next some time, been meaning to pick up some to roast for tea.
You got a recipe you like?

my breakfast barley porridge is 190g broken pearled hulled barley and 1,5 liters of liquid. i like a liter of milk & water for the rest. 1 hour simmer, stir every 15 min. 3 big ass portions.
favorite mix-in is low fat cottage cheese, 100g banana & few teaspoons of cocoa powder. choccy porridge, if you will.
for a ~500ml thermos porridge though, its 300ml skim milk, 70g barley, 15g peanut butter and 100g fruit. i warm it up on the stove and it cooks in the thermos for around 6 hours. mix in bit of cold water from my bottle to thin & cool it when eating.
also i put a mix of whey & skim milk powder in to optimize macros but thats just me
