Biden kept and even accelerated the money printing in his first year though.

Normies being flabbergasted that inflation makes things cost more is getting really old. Yes, midwits. Having an unbacked inflationary currency means your money loses value with time. Don't like it? Well we shouldn't have gone off the gold standard then. Too late now. Everyone wanted cheap foreign crap instead of sound money.

Because inflation going down doesn't mean it's negative, anon.

How would you have handled the massive gold buy-offs that petrostates such as Saudi Arabia were conducting? Remember, having a currency backed by gold means I am entitled to exchange it for gold at any time. So since your currency is the global reserve I'll just buy a bunch of it(I can afford to since I'm a petrostate) then order you to give me its value in gold, and you're obligated to do so by your own laws.
Since you're so smart, how would you have prevented America's gold supply from being stripped away without ending the Gold Standard?
