I miss when foodtubers would talk and narrate what they’re doing like a real cooking show. Now it’s all just “asmr” style dogshit, no talking, no music, just clank bang scrape with the treble turned to 800%. Even my old favorites are now doing the “asmr” reel shit.

Yeah, I pretty much just watch old "Great Chefs" episodes on youtube now from the 80's and 90's. Not "cutting edge" food if you are into that but a lot of great classics done right by some legendary chefs before they became famous.

I’m guessing jannies see tuber posts as advertisements, but this one certainly ain’t. I got all my cooking skills from foodtubers so it’s not like the topic is unrelated.
