Yeah, you made the soup taste at least 15% less good. I worked for a chef who wouldn't allow even pre-peeled garlic because it sacrificed flavor. You really fucked up.

When I was about 9 or 10 I was into salsa sandwiches made like yours, and I put BBQ sauce on ham sandwiches.
The idea of eating either of those things as an adult makes me kind of sick.

Of course you can. Well, maybe YOU can't. But that minced garlic in brine in a jar is 100% noticeable to most people. The thing about peeled is also true. Just smell and taste for yourself. Maybe your tongue and nose are handicapped.

It’s a mustier garlic
Which is done in some things imo, but really if you were tired of chopping it out whatever you should’ve gotten a thingy
Like a garlic press or something

I don't marinate or prepare my steak in any way. I just toss the meat on the grille, throw salt on each side, and when it's ready I throw seasoning on it AFTER it's done. Then I eat all of it. And I like it that way.

I found out you can make smoked meat by taking the drippings and water from the tray in the bottom of your smoker, and putting that in a crock pot and slow cooking it. the meat tasted exactly the same as smoking it.

I have created spicy potatoes last night.
Recipe:
2 large potatoes
Sauce from buldak noodles
Cut the potatoes in pieces, fried them until slightly golden, added salt and a spice I like, then dumped the rest of the sauce packet (I never use the whole one) onto the tatoes. Added hot water halfway through because I like them a bit mushy. The result was pretty spicy but tolerable fried potatoes. Might make this again if I get hit with 2AM manic episode one more time.

I will eat pasta sauce with potatoes or rice. Or stir fry with pasta or potatoes. Or chili con carne with pasta. A carb source is a carb source, it can make variety easier during the week.
And I put garlic and white wine with bacon in my carbonara

I don't like steak. Like plain steak as a meal, it's fine if it's steak used as an ingredient. Way too expensive and overhyped for what you get.
