Episode synopsis: acting gay has become hip with the men and boys of south park thanks to the popularization of the show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy".

>the majority of the important boy characters are wearing "gay" clothes for most of the episode - which includes Stan wearing a fishnet tank top that that shows off his nipples and a hat with a blue five-point star on it (i.e, five blue NAMbLA triangles)
>the first scene of the episode is a montage of Kyle getting a gay makeover, which includes a small section of the main four boys showing their feet to the camera as they get a pedicure
>Craig literally calls himself a CATAMITE when arguing with Cartman about who's gayer
>Mr. Garrison (confirmed pedarast) is initially happy about this (until he realizes everyone is larping)
>Even the unfunny "crab people" bit at the end is a nod to the 2001 Brass Eye episode "Paedogeddon" that memes about how pedophiles share genetic similarity to crabs (given that the SP episode aired 2 years later, it's entirely plausible that Matt and Trey saw Paedoageddon)

This sort of messaging happens in every SP episode, but episodes like these make it RIDICULOUSLY obvious - South Park is a pedarast show, it's delusional to claim otherwise.
And not only is it a show that seeks to talk about pedarasty, it's a show that seeks to discuss niche issues that only pedarasts care about - in this case, the girly sho vs boyish sho debate.
The show's premise is literally "little boys doing sexual things" and yet normies will still try to gaslight you that say it's just "irony" when you recognize the "subtle" pedarast messaging. Fuck this gay earth.

The NAMbLA episode even existing is one of the best pieces of evidence as to why SP is a pedarast show. Most normies didnt even know what NAMbLA was when the episode was aired - the fact that they knew enough about it to directly cite it should say something... Do you think they'd be able to get away with pandering to the shotacon fanbase by pairing two little boys up with eachother after it became popular?
This isn't a one-off occurrence that I'm reading into - half of the show's jokes are "children being put in a sexual situation". At a certain point, irony doesn't excuse it anymore.

I'm not saying that Matt and Trey rape kids themselves or anything. It's just odd that a very obvious pedarast show is just labelled as edgy when they've gone farther than the vast majority of adult shows.

Those sorts of jokes aren't made NEARLY as frequently as the child sexualization jokes are, and they aren't the whole premise of the show.
No one watches South Park because it has constant India Jones rape scenes, while there are countless people who watch South Park for of the little boy sex stuff, as evidenced by the sheer amount of shotacons in the fandom (which Matt and Trey are very aware of)

I'm not very excited for the new season. I don't think it'll be very funny or compelling. Theyre trying to do political satire about events that'll be irrelevant by the time the season comes out - the teaser said it would touch on the Diddy trials (which are now over) and a "war with Canada" (which no one is talking about anymore). Also, Matt and Trey refuse to address Trump again or mention the Israel/Palestine conflict, so they can't even cover anything truly controversial or topical. Desu they'd be better off going back to making episodes on the boys being silly but they won't do that because it's not edgy enough.
Matt and Trey are senile and unfunny now - someone needs to stage a coup and take over South Park before it becomes utter dog shit.

You know, I was thinking about how the majority of MystChaos art/fic seems to make Chaos too cool and confident, kinda like Victor but more self-aware? I've noticed lately that MystChaos has been getting a lot more fan attention, with some even saying they love it but dislike Bunny for being boring. That's fair enough, everyone has different tastes, but the whole point of MystChaos is that it's Bunny putting on a performance. Chaos's appeal has always been that he's a cutie who acts like a hammy supervillain but sucks at actually doing anything evil.

Going a little deeper, Butters has always been deeply lonely and cared about others so much it hurt, so he pretends to be a cold-hearted monster to mask that pain from everyone (ESPECIALLY himself), but he's too genuinely kind to actually do anything mean. Similarly, Kenny lives in constant fear of pain and death to the point that he's essentially become a background character to avoid any sort of attention despite his moments in the spotlight showing him to be a rambunctious goofball at heart (I know the real reason is the writers getting fed up with his muffled speaking, but analyzing him like this is more fun). But when he puts on the mask, he's an aloof force of nature who totally doesn't care about normal kid stuff, and is even able to weaponize his curse in a way that makes him feel more in control.

Maybe the issue is that we haven't actually had enough canon MystChaos interaction to solidify their dynamic in the fandom eye, similarly to how pre-Going Native Bunny often had Kenny being mean to Butters. But from what we've seen so far, Chaos is fixated on Mysterion being his legit rival, rather ironically since the Coon is his actual foil (a hero who sucks at being good), because Mysterion is sooo coool, and maybe they could even hang out after the fight or something!

Anyway I guess what I'm trying to say is that it seems like a lot of the current appeal for MystChaos is generic hero/villain shipping, which is kinda funny since a lot of the disdain for Bunny is due to it being generic puppy love hurt/comfort. The Orange Man Bad stuff in the first episode of the new season was pretty funny - given their previous stance on politics, it was jarring and unexpectedly acidic in a way that was actually entertaining. Wok is Dead also focused a lot on the antics of the boys in reaction to the Orange Man stuff, which was nice.
I just wish they hadnt dragged out the meme as much as they did. It's boring now. And they keep focusing on the teachers/parents, which sucks.
