Diane and Wolf were "semi-canon" for 3 years based on nothing but them dancing and flirting a bit together and noone bets an eye.

I'm more of a fan of Zootopia's setting making "predatation" a problem left in the stone age.

Beastars is cool, but it doesn't make sense as a modern society setting. The writer had to do several really big excuses to why this society hasn't collapsed yet with either groups wiping the other out of existence.

I like Zootopia's setting where an ancient old no-longer practiced by anyone cultural difference is base for prejudice, than Beastars prejudice having a very strong and rational reason.
