it's funny that disney is willing to "go hard" with their properties in side material (lorcana, twisted wonderland, that one mobile game where everyone is from a bad end AU, arguably kingdom hearts at one point) but god forbid any of this "edginess" make it some kind of mainstream format.

Yes. All the women are pretty good. Faces are based on their orginal releases. I cant think of one with tumblr face. Even the more tomboyish outfits keep their silhouettes

The formula is simple. Hard to fuck up. No deep lore. Not locked into anything because each one is different. They still capture kid's attention because they are colorful and move really fast. And if one flops you are out a couple million and not a 100. Also easier to get airtime in china since it could be stuck in front of any movie and they aren't controversial.

Any franchises that you want to see in Lorcana that haven't appeared yet? I'd love to see something like Gummi Bears or The Wuzzles show up, or some more obscure things, like The Fluppy Dogs. It would also be cool if they could acknowledge some of the live action stuff. Pirates of the Caribbean would be pretty dope.
